ABSOLUTELY recommend. ZERO negative comments. Cleanest stay during this two week trip and most others. Fabulous shower, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Relaxing common areas and all the treats and drinks the owner offers, with SUPER comfortable seating with artifacts meticulously displayed. Loved the outside balcony; wish I had time to enjoy the garden. All in an astonishing early century building! Owner is such a cool guy; we have many parallels from home areas to relocations! Coffee shop across street is not to be missed, sweet or savory! Seriously considered rescheduling the remainder of my trip to spend another night. Will stay here again any remote chance I get.

If you are in the Talihina area this is a must stay visit. Nice historical hotel. They have a few pet friendly rooms. Reservations are made over the phone. Nice second floor balcony and an outdoor seating area you can hang out. Coffee is available in the front entrance. I'll stay here again.

Historic hotel converted to a β€œguest house.” Lots of historical memorabilia and decor. We stayed here as our first stop to travel the Talimena Scenic Byway. Quaint, comfortable room, and extremely friendly/helpful staff; Michael is awesome! Enjoy the surrounding view with morning coffee on the shared balcony. Great place to stay.

We stayed in the King room #8. Large and comfortable, nicely furnished, decent towels and soaps, cold A/C. So many different lounging areas and complimentary coffees and drinks/snacks. We really loved the outdoors patio. Mike really made us feel welcomed. 15 of us stayed, on bikes, plenty of parking. Surprising quiet, even though only a 1/2 block from the highway. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed 2 nights midweek. Queen bed. Room was clean and comfortable. Sink had hot water coming from both faucets. Not sure how that happened? Another couple with us had an issue with their shower faucet. It was full hot water and would not adjust cooler. They could not take a shower. Also, their TV would not pick out the cable signal.
We were there to ride motorcycles in the area and appreciated the parking right in front of the hotel. Nice folks. Would stay again but they need to work on some technical issues.

Came into town after dark on my motorcycle looking for a place to stay. I rode here and in front was a small area for motorcycle parking. I felt welcomed and called for a room. Michael met me within minutes showed me some of the hotel and my room before I paid. It was clean, quiet and well kept. Drinks, some snacks, etc if needed. Room ac kept me cold, tv had many channels, water pressure was strong and hot. Also alot of neat history about the hotel.

Stayed one night in a queen room before backpacking in the Ouachitas nearby. The staff was very friendly and gave me a quick tour of the building which I found to be charming. They offered complimentary soda, water, and a few snacks which was very nice. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The walls are pretty thin, so I was able to hear the other guests walking around and talking at night. The hotel is within walking distance of the main strip, and the coffee shop across the street is great. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back through.
