We stayed here on a recent vacation. The location was excellent. The breakfast was very good. It was better than a lot of the breakfast I’ve had at restaurants. The room was very large and spacious and everything worked the hotel lobby and Elevator or a little bit dirty but this was due to contract workers entering and leaving the building as guests with muddy boots. The ice machine on the fourth floor was not in operation during our stay, but there were three other machine that were in operation. there was an outdoor pool and hot tub that seemed like they were out of service for the winter and uncovered and full of leaves. Hopefully, during the summer these would be an operation. overall, it was a very nice day at a reasonable cost.

Front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping was, intermittent at best. Didn't take garbage out in room unless places in hallway. Breakfast was standard fare, but quantity and decent quality

I stayed in the McAlester, Oklahoma Holiday Inn and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. My bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the breakfast the next morning hit the spot. My only complaint from the entire stay, is the orange juice machine wasn’t working properly and the juice was really watered down.

I was impressed with the updates that have been made at this hotel. It looked really nice, and it was clean. The rooms were quiet, and the water pressure in the shower was great! I will definitely stay here again.

Hard to find their entryway drive. Window covering, broken, can't open blinds. Toilet seat loose, fall hazard. This is a handicap room. Tub, not walk in shower. Ice machine broken, must go to another floor for ice. This property needs some work.

After a trying day I was dropped off at this property. Angela was working the front desk and went out of her way to help me overcome the issues I was dealing with and to get me checked in the a relaxing room for the night. I can't thank her enough! I used reward points for a great room followed by a superb breakfast the next morning.

Hard to get to of you're southbound. The lobby door locks at night, but the key card reader doesn't work and you'll have to get back in through a side door. None of the ice machines worked that I tried... 3rd floor and lobby... I wasn't gonna go floor to floor looking for one that worked just so i could make iced tea before I left. I almost exclusively stay at Holiday Inn Express', but this one needs attention. Not sure I'd stay here again on my way to TX. All things considered, these are basic, minor things that could be fixed within a month at the most.

I always enjoy my stay at this property, the beds are super comfortable and we love the delicious breakfast! My favorite part is the cinnamon rolls and the biscuits and gravy. I also appreciate that they have a room option with 3 beds, one of which is in it's own room, which is nice for privacy.

As the hotel is starting to get a little older, there are some things that need to be addressed - for example, my room had small burn marks in the carpet (like from a cigarette, although it did not smell at all inside), the toilet made a loud running noise and when I opened the tank to see if it was something I could adjust myself, I was horrified to see how dirty it was inside the tank. It made me wonder what else is that dirty inside the hotel? There are also small things like scuffs on walls, rust in the bathtub. I hope someone will give these small things attention before they become big things that will drive guests away.

However, the positives currently outweigh the negatives and I'll continue staying here.
