Very disappointed at the 2019 VINTON county fair. Positives 1st: Rides..they had more rides this year and better ones then years past. Negatives: there were one a couple food vendors and only 2 games. No ski ball! Who has NO ski ball at a fair? On top of all that, raise the price for entrance to $10 per person. My kid had fun on the rides so maybe thTs the entire point but if it's the same next year, I'm sure the crowd size will be the same.

For $10 per person for entry... there was nothing there. Maybe 2 or 3 rides, a few food vendors, and a couple of animal barns. The only thing entertaining was a dirt bike race. Even with the race... the bleachers were basically falling apart and situated where you couldn't even see the riders. $10 for a family of 4 or 5 people ($40-$50) is too much. But... the employees there were friendly.

The building is a great place for family reunions or birthday parties. Big, spacious plus has bathrooms and a kitchen. You just need to clean up after you are done.

Beautiful covered bridge. Wish it was in a different location, rather than the Fairgrounds, however the pond is Beautiful.
