This B&B was the most relaxing and comfortable place we've been in a long time. The owners were extremely welcoming and had thought of everything that would be needed in the bottom floor B&B suite. Plentiful and various options for a in-suite breakfast were ready and available... options of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice, milk, and water, as well as cereal, muffins, bagels, frozen breakfast skillets, and other snacks all provided. Even fresh homemade cookies were waiting when we arrived. The bed and furniture were very comfy, the hot soothed our sore muscles, and if bored, the pool table provided a different form of entertainment. Thank you for a wonderful little getaway place. We will definitely visit again if in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay when you need to get away just the two of you. My husband booked the private suite at The Whistlestop B&B in Hocking Hills and what a beautifully decorated and spacious room we had. We loved the super comfy bed, and a cozy fireplace with such a warm decor. They have thought of most everything you will need during your stay from continental breakfast items to fresh cookies, coffee, soda, juice and waters. Couldn't have had a better time! What a wonderful place to stay. It's so peaceful and quiet. My husband and I said we really didn't care if we ever left the front porch it was so relaxing. Mike, Sherry and of course Lucy were the best hosts. The room was very clean and breakfast items well stocked. We never used the hot tub but it is there to use. B & B is close to all the hiking trails and the Hocking River. We would definitely recommend the Whistlestop. We hope to make it back next year for our 41st anniversary. We have never stayed at such an accommodating place. We really enjoyed our 4 days there.

The Whistlestop Inn was a charming, quiet, convenient, and affordable place to stay! You really do feel like you’ve gotten away from it all when you’re relaxing in the hot tub on the porch. Mike and Sherry are the most gracious and considerate inn-keepers, and I swear they have thought of everything when it comes to making your stay as comfortable as possible. We had a well stocked fridge and freezer, an extra gallon of water for brewing coffee or the many kinds of teas available, fluffy robes and towels, earplugs, prepackaged snacks to nibble while playing pool, so many different ways we felt spoiled by our hosts! Not only do we recommend this place, we are looking forward to returning soon.

Would give 6 stars if I could! My boyfriend and I had a perfect weekend getaway. The B&B is super clean and conveniently located 20 minutes from all of the beautiful Hocking Hills trails, but is still in a very relaxing and secluded area. The private trail to the river, pool table, hot tub, and yummy baked goods make you feel very peaceful and spoiled. Sherry, Mike and Lucy are all so welcoming. Cant wait to make it back here!

This was our second stay at Whistlestop and it is just the perfect getaway! Just about 20 minutes away from the beautiful Hocking Hills hikes, but you'll barely want to leave, since everything you need is provided for you in this cozy suite! We went winter hiking at Cedar Falls and Ash Cave, and were delighted to thaw and relax in the hot tub when we got back. We will 100% be back the next time we need a little getaway - thank you so much for a truly relaxing and refreshing weekend!

My husband and I love staying at the Whistlestop! No trip to the area would be complete without staying here. It's super close to all the parks and activities and secluded enough to feel like a private oasis.
Mike and Sherry go out of their way to make you feel welcome, Lucy too! Sherry has homemade baked goods waiting when you get there and decorates the room beautifully. She thinks of everything! Can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the quiet, scenic landscape from our front porch, and I took full advantage of the pool table and hot tub. Sherry provided a plethora of snacks and breakfast items for us to choose from--and her homemade cinnamon rolls are excellent! I would definitely come back here if we decide on another little getaway.
