Could not have been better! The cabin has an excellent design. Plenty of room in the main living areas, loft bedroom, main bedroom and the bath. (In some cabins the bath can be a squeeze, but certainly not in this cabin). Brand new hot tub. Friendly owners have thought of everything to ensure your comfort! Don’t go anywhere else! We are not. Already planning our return trip because of the great memories we created here and know that booking anywhere else will by comparison be a disappointment!

*Note* This Cabin should NOT be Pet Friendly. I paid extra to have my dogs with me. This property is the equivalent of an uneven gravel pit surrounded by thorn bushes. Good thing that the daily gunfire kept my dogs from wanting to go outside much. The inside offered all the finest luxuries that the early 90s had to offer including: press-board furniture, blanket covered sofas, fluorescent lighting, baseboard heating, window air conditioning, and yes, even a brass chandelier! The seclusion is amazing too! There is another cabin 30yds away, visible from the front door and the management sends uninvited maintenance people to drop by daily under the guise of managing the hot tub. I have stayed at over 20 cabins in the Hocking hills area and never had someone step on the property while I was there. After waking up with sore backs from the beds, we abandoned our stay and just went home in disgust.

Loved the cabin. Had everything we needed. We forgot matches for the grill but luckily they had that covered. Things you don't think to pack they had. Nice 2 bedroom with large living area. Clean and quiet.

Very comfortable setting. Secluded, clean, and cozy. More than enough cooking supplies. Excellent experience. Within 15 minutes to most major trails. Our dogs came with us and loved it. Although it is pet friendly, there wasn't any signs of previous pets being there. | Hot tub was clean and checked daily. Very private.

Quite frankly, pictures do not do it. Justice from an immaculately cleaned beautiful modern home to the tranquil setting I could not have asked for more. I am an owner with Bluegreen resorts. I've never stayed at a place that was more set up and ready and welcoming to the beginning of our vacation than I did at this cabin. I walk around barefoot 24/7. Usually I have to put slippers or something on because floors are never cleaned. Not once did I have to do this there. It wasn't just countertops. The refrigerator was clean. The bedrooms were clean. There wasn't a speck of dirt anywhere to be seen. I truly did not want to come home. This was a trip I did not want to take because of personal reasons but this cabin changed it for me. I had the most unexpected enjoyable. Good time ever and if you rent make sure you go to Grandma Faye's. They have been in the area far before the tourism hit and they are the most incredible people you will ever meet. Tell them the strangers sent you lol I guarantee they will get a laugh out of it

I stayed at Chestnut Grove Cabins this past weekend for a long weekend getaway with my husband, our 1 year old daughter and our 2 dogs. The cabins were nice, clean, spacious and private! The hot tub was clean and maintained and the views from the balcony were beautiful! We searched for a cabin that allowed dogs, and I am so glad we booked here! The rates are affordable and the pet fee is reasonable. Oh, and it was just a short drive to all the amazing hiking trails! The only thing I would have like to have had provided was a mop. With 2 dogs and lots of dirt and dust outside, the floors quickly became too dirty for my 1 year old to play on. This was our first time booking a cabin as a family and we definitely plan on booking with them again in the future!

We stayed in cabin #2 this past weekend and it was amazing. The cleanliness, privacy, and ease of booking with the very fair pricing was more than we could ask for. The cabin itself is located by other cabins but still far enough to be secluded. We were happy to see that located not far was a few little stores and shops to grab something if needed. It did rain the whole weekend so we did spend alot of time indoors however in this cozy, and peaceful cabin we did not mind at all. The cabin had information for all of the local attractions as well as a chart to show you nature trails, and peak times for visiting. They also provided more than enough basic kitchen and bathroom necessities wich made packing so much easier! We have a large dog and there was more than enough room for her to have fun outside and the scenery was gorgeous. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub and appreciated the fact that it was checked daily. I would highly recommend this cabin rental company as some of our friends and family are already looking to book, and we plan on coming back in the fall. Thank you for making our weekend getaway so nice!!!

Perfect! I took my husband here for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 5th year together, 6 months of marriage and our dogs 1 year birthday, LOL!
So, SCORE, for being pet friendly! The hot tub was another BONUS! We were there Friday-Sunday, spent Saturday relaxing in the hot tub and around the cabin. We both work SO MUCH, and having that day to just veg out, was perfect.
We were no more than 10-20 minutes from trailheads, groceries, an apple stand, local restaurants, visitors centers, etc.

We stayed in "Morning Light."

Instructions on how to get to and into the house were PERFECT.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and definitely can accommodate up to 6 adults. I have added Chestnut Grove to my list of places to return with my Hikerbabes for a Retreat!
