We just got home from an incredible experience staying at Smith Lake RV & Cabin Resort! Larry and Sandy gave us the royal treatment during our stay. They are extremely nice people. This is the cleanest, nicest upscale RV park we have found in the Cullman area. So many amenities, pool, dock, boat ramp to name a few, very nice size sites and beautifully landscaped grounds as well as conveniently located to the lake and marinas. The boardwalk down by the lake is awesome. Most importantly, the people are some of the nicest you will ever meet. Thank you Larry and Sandy for letting us tour your facility. We 100% recommend Smith Lake RV & Cabin resort!

My husband and I have been visiting the resort for several years and stayed on an RV/Cabin lot as a guest one year. We decided RV life was not for us but we kept coming back to visit our friends who live at the resort. Sandy & Larry were always gracious and patient with us and we ultimately decided to buy a cabin. No RV required! We are grateful to live is this well maintained, quiet, close knit community of great people. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful here! Prior to purchasing in the resort (last winter), I was visiting my friend and an extremely rare ice storm hit. I headed to the airport and hit some ice on the road and Sandy & Larry jumped in their truck and came to pick me up. That is the kindness they show to others. Living here on the lake is good for the soul!

An Exceptional RV Community We’re Proud to Call Home – Twice!

We initially visited and subsequently purchased a lot in the early part of the resort’s development, but made the difficult decision to sell when life took us in a different direction. We continued to follow the resort and periodically visited with hopes of returning some day. Well, that day came and we bought a new lot in June of 2022.

The resort is meticulously maintained, with beautiful landscaping, spotless facilities, and a secure, gated entrance. The amenities, from the pool to the clubhouse, 3 stocked fishing ponds, the boardwalk, pickle ball, etc., make every day feel like a getaway.

The community and management are incredibly welcoming, making it easy to connect with neighbors while still enjoying your own space. We are so happy to have found Smith Lake RV & Cabin Resort. Highly recommend this gem of a community for anyone seeking not just an RV resort but a true home.

My husband and I moved to Lot 156 three years ago yesterday from Southern Illinois. Since that time we have built a cabin and can travel at our leisure not worrying about our property. We have made many great friends. We are one great big family. The potlucks are soooo good. No regrets here.

We bought a lot at Smith Lake RV and Cabin Resort in 2018 after visiting on a “Golden Ticket” for a few days. Initially, we planned to use our lot as a guaranteed vacation spot. However, a few months later we decided to build a cabin. The cabin became our official retirement residence this year. The developers Larry and Sandy Harris give their heart and soul every day to the resort and our community. Come and check this place out!

Love this place! Time on the water with family and friends make for a great Fall football Saturday.

Kids did a little fishing in the ponds while we were able to make s’mores watching football. A golf cart ride to the waterfall makes for a fun trip too.

If you are fortunate enough to visit or live here you’ve been blessed. It has all the fun amenities you could ask for such as a pool, 3 stocked fishing ponds, a boat launch to the Beautiful Smith Lake and much more!
