Dayton Cater Company was absolutely fantastic, especially Rachel! From start to finish, they made the catering and bartending for our wedding completely seamless. Rachel went above and beyond during the planning process, offering guidance and support that made everything so much easier. On the big day, their team executed everything flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy a stress-free celebration. The food and service were exceptional, and they truly exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend Dayton Cater Company enough—they were an integral part of making our wedding day perfect!

I highly recommend booking Dayton Catering if you're getting married in the area!!! We had them cater our wedding at Court Manor Venue in New Market, VA in October 2024 and I may be biased because it was my own wedding, but it was the best wedding food I've ever had.

The entire booking process was extremely straight forward and they are extremely communicative and answer any and all questions that you have.

We had passed appetizers (which ran out so quickly so definitely order more than you expect because people LOVED them), the pork tenderloin/Roasted chicken dinner with potatoes, green beans, and macaroni and cheese, and then the best part was post-dinner snacks which was the pierogis and nachos.

All the food was absolutely delicious and we were really happy to have the take home meal prepared and then a lot of other leftovers that they easily packaged for us! They also bring a lot of their own equipment and tables making it easy on the bride and groom logistically.

We also used 2 bartenders from Dayton (but brought our own alcohol) and I only heard fantastic things about the bartenders from our guests and that there was hardly ever a line or wait!

Overall, the food, service, and price of Dayton Catering was fantastic and made our wedding day go so smoothly. I know I was initially hesitant to book because of limited reviews so hope this helps you make the decision to move forward with them!

I'm a Venue Manager at Court Manor Wedding and Events in New Marker and Dayton Catering has worked weddings for clients at our venue multiple times now. I'm always met with kind, efficient professionals who know the catering business inside and out. Their food is delicious and beautiful and their service is top notch! I'll keep recommending them to anyone who asks as I consider them to be one of the top caterers in the Rockingham county and surrounding areas!

We had Dayton Catering Co. at our wedding on 10/28/23 but we would’ve been better off picking someone else for a little more money. I would’ve written this review prior to now except it would’ve been an angry review. Let me explain:

We are foodies and picked Dayton because we were both blown away by their customer service and food. There were zero issues when it came to the tasting, prices, or communication. It was extremely easy to email them and get a response as well as an updated price for the any changes I had. All the positive events leading up to the wedding day resulted in me not being worried about Dayton at all but that was my mistake.

My issue was our wedding day, the one day that mattered. When we were ready to eat, the bride and groom were to go first through the buffet line. We ended standing awkwardly because the food wasn’t ready on time. Not sure if it was a communication issue but it was so cringy. We were told by Dayton staff to sit and they would bring us food which was fine except we didn’t get all the items. We didn’t get bread, the green beans, or the chicken we paid for. The salad was horrendous as there wasn’t enough dressing and it literally was just lettuce and a couple carrots (I received no tomatoes, or any other type of vegetation besides lettuce and a few carrots). Our guests did get everything (we asked after the wedding) so we could look past it.

The biggest complaint we have is not getting the ‘take home plate’. It was advertised to us and we were beyond excited. It was supposed to be a plate we could have after we left on our getaway late wedding night. We never got one and ended up trying to order ANYTHING near Massanutten which was nothing at 1am. Whether this was a communication error or it didn’t happen; either way, we didn’t get that plate and that was one of the reasons we picked Dayton.

Again, we had a very enjoyable experience with Dayton leading up to the wedding. The wedding day just left a lot to be desired and a very upset bride who organized this whole thing. Food and the venue were our largest budget items; we placed emphasis on the food because of being foodies so it meant a lot to us to be correct and good. Unfortunately, we didn’t experience either on our wedding day and when looking back on our day, we only have negatives with the food services.

We used Dayton Catering for our wedding in May of 2022. They were so easy to work with and were great with answering our questions. The tasting was very personal and the coordinator, Rachal, was so kind throughout the whole process. The food was incredible and all of our guests raved about how delicious it was!

They did an extraordinary job catering my daughter's graduation party. The food was amazing. The grilled chicken was moist and tender. The pork barbeque was terrific and they brought extra sauce. The sides were served on ice. I am allergic to peaches so they provided the most beautiful fruit salad without them. The berries and melons made for a pretty mix of colors. The service was exceptional. They have patient staff who packaged all of our leftovers and took care of the whole meal for us. Money extremely well spent for less stress for us. We will use them again.

The Dayton catering is one of my favorites. She catered my wedding and it was amazing. Anytime we go out if they have catering by Dayon Catering it's a big plus for us. We go into the restaurant often as well. NEVER had a bad meal. The food is always awesome.
