Cameron Mitchell Premier Events has graciously provided food for our fundraising events with Yes Columbus, most recently the Cheers to Success holiday party. Their teams always show up polished, professional, and EARLY! They take special care to create a beautiful presentation and always provide the freshest food. At the Cheers fundraiser, everyone loved the fresh chicken salad cups. We love it that CMPE cares about supporting the local Columbus community.

My wife and I used Cameron Mitchell for our food caterer for our wedding and wow we thought we knew how good they could be but we were blown away! It's hard to mass-prepare high quality food for 200 people but every single one of our guests comment on how delicious the food was. Every one! I can't recall a wedding I have attended where one of the main conversation pieces was how good the food was. Not only was the food incredible but the staff made a true 5-star effort. I couldn't believe how well prepared they were for our big day! My wife and I even had our own designated waitress for our personal drinks / orders. Unbelievable! Chandra was our coordinator and she was a true genuine professional. She was professional and organized when she needed to be but she never let that overshadow her genuine spirit and care she put into our wedding. She treated our planning with as much care as she would treat her own! Cameron Mitchell made our most special day of our lives the most memorable and I would recommend their services to any future couple to have the opportunity for that same experience. We were so happy we made the choice!

Got the Thanksgiving Feast. The food was very good and easy to reheat. Our guests loved the food. Entire process was done professionally and to spec. Will definitely use Camerin Mitchell Premier Events in the future.

100% Ryan and his team deserve 5 stars for catering my sons graduation party! The set up for food was fast and looked and tasted great! They made sure the food was refilled the whole time, the trash was cleaned up off tables throughout party and the drinks were constantly filled in the tubs! The dessert table wasn’t even part of our agreement for them to take care of and every time I went to refill the desserts they told me to go enjoy the party and they would do it, which was so nice and kind! THANK YOU for helping to make our party for my son go so smooth and being so awesome to work with!!!

I've come to the conclusion that the reviews I've read about them not wanting to do smaller receptions is quite accurate. It's been over a month since I've heard from Krystin Van Horn, the Director of Sales. I've followed up and left a voicemail message.

If they don't do receptions under a certain number? Communicate that. If it's a busy season due to the holidays and the response time is slower? Communicate that. If the wedding is too far in advance and they'd rather provide a proposal closer to said date? Communicate that.

The venue we chose has them down on their list of caterers that they will only use. I plan on sharing my experience with them in hopes they remove them since the venue is for small to medium sized weddings. Every wedding planning site I am on, I will be posting about this experience.

It's a shame I can leave a review not based on what they actually do, but on how they don't feel I'm good enough to get around to doing what they actually do.

If you have a smaller wedding/reception, I'd look elsewhere.
