Great location and atmosphere, but the service was very bad.

I was initially going to give 1/5 stars due to the poor and delayed service. Service in general appeared very slow on a day this place was only half full. Moreover, service to us was particularly slower, as they took more than 1 hour to serve our food, while some of the other customers that came 20-40 mins after us, got theirs served much early and ended up leaving by time we got ours. After an hour of wait and asking them, they finally got us food, but only fries. Rest of the food came immediately with in 2 minutes after we told them that we were going to leave if it doesn't come soon. However, I am glad that they acknowledged their delay in service and apologized for it. Also, they gave us 10% discount on the total bill and also complimentary cannoli. Hence, the 3 stars.

But, the major disappointment was the waiters' lack of interest in serving. Both of our waiters' always seemed in a rush to leave and one of them didn't even have patience to stand there to take our full order. Kept trying to walk away multiple times while we were saying out our order.

Food overall was decent.

Sandwhiches were good, the coffee was good but the price adjustments for non dairy milk isn't something im a fan of with when almond milk is generally cheaper and has longer shelf life then dairy. And the order of frys was actually funny when i opened the box. It was like paying $.50 per fry. Seriously miniscule amount. I would go again, kind staff, clean environment food tasted good.

WOW! We are so lucky that we discovered this place. We are traveling on the road for a living and we go to so many places all across the country for food, coffee and pit stops. This place is by far one of the best that I’ve been to anywhere in my 15 years of touring. Very friendly and smiling faces and delicious food. Maya at the front was so awesome! She was super helpful, knowledgeable, quick and patient. She really made our day and I wish she was working at every cafe that we go to! The owner, Michelle, was also at front of house, running around and ensuring that every guest had what they needed. Michelle told us about how they really care about the community and how they help underrepresented coffee growers all around the world- very impressive.
Beside the excellent service, the food and coffee were 10/10. Vegan options were amazing and perfectly prepped and well priced. The regular menu was full of so many great options and our group (of 8) were able to find something that they absolutely loved. The potato leek soup was perfect, the Chicken club was also on point and tasty.

Our server was lovely, but the place is NOT worth the hype.
Took an hour to get our food with a reservation, and my meal "the loaded breakfast burrito" was missing 2 of the 4 ingredients. Took 15 min to be checked on so of course I ate some. I expected it to be comped as it was pretty inedible.
Also served hot honey instead of syrup with the French toast which I love as a spicy-loving person but would have scorched my poor husband. My sour cream that came with it as "sour cream and salsa" was a garlic aoili.

The kicker? The owner told the server well she ate half (not quite over a quarter but ok) so the max I'll give is 10%.

I was able to steal some bacon from my husband's meal to make the quarter I ate palatable and I was starving by then so of course I ate something. Was 15 min before we were checked on.

Husband's was great but the place is an operational dumpster fire and the owner definitely not interested in repeat business.

I hardly ever give negative reviews bit the owner's attitude soured it 100%. Again, our server did her best and she was a bright spot. Tipped her extra but I'll not be back.
