We had a lovely stop here! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was updated and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding, set up well and plentiful. The beds are very comfortable and the linens soft and luxurious. We will stop again.

Frankie at the front desk had the brightest smile and truly looked to enjoy her job. Very welcoming atmosphere! Great breakfast- and the breakfast attendant kept on top of refilling everything so we never had to wait on anything. My kids especially loved the cinnamon rolls.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had—and I’ve stayed in some questionable places before, but this one takes the cake.||First off, the room was absolutely filthy—like, “did they even bother cleaning?” levels of dirty. Hair in the sink, stains on the sheets, and a general feeling of "I should have brought my own hazmat suit." To make matters worse, the shower was broken, so unless you enjoy feeling gross AND staying that way, good luck.||I tried to get some kind of resolution, but the customer service was a complete joke. Booking.com and the hotel just pointed fingers at each other like a bunch of kids caught in a lie. I called twice, went to the front desk, and still, nothing but excuses. The only “compensation” I got for this disaster? A pathetic $20 discount. Insulting.||And if you think that’s the end of the nightmare, think again. I was charged $185.92, yet my security deposit still hasn’t been refunded, and another $75 is mysteriously missing from my account. The cherry on top? They somehow got my card details wrong on the invoice—but still managed to charge me correctly when I checked in. Sketchy much?|| Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy overpaying for filth, broken amenities, and nonexistent customer service.

We came in late at night needing only a place to sleep, the staff was super nice and the facility appeared well kept. Once in our room the carpet was disgusting and there were a couple of stink bugs (or just one that I’d seen twice) but we had a good night sleep, missed breakfast which made us sad because Holiday Inn Express has a very nice breakfast.

I’d like to think that the room was supposed to be taken out of service but someone missed the memo and the stink bug(s) just came in on somebody’s luggage (they are very good hiders). Please take the carpet out of room 322 and burn it.

Bed was great. Breakfast was great. Room had a musty smell that was very strong. After filling the jacuzzi tub, the smell started to fade (I believe this is where the smell was coming from). Carpet and furniture was stained up. Staff is a 10/10, very quick and helpful with all needs.

We have come to know and enjoy the IHG family of hotels and HIX in particular as a favored place. However, at times we find one that does not live up to the expectations of our family and I imagine that it does not live up to the same with IHG. This property is one of those places that was a disappointment. From a dirty outdated room to a breakfast buffet that was far from the typical experience we have at other sites.

We recognize that with a world championship event in Dayton, and all hotels in the area at capacity, the level of detail would be reduced. In this case it appears as though the starting point was average at its peak and this added burden caused the experience to fall dramatically below HIX standards.

This is why we are unable to recommend this location until significant changes and improvements are taken. We encourage IHG to consider a strong review of this situation so that it can provide positive results in the future.

Rented Jacuzzi suite and excited to find a hotel with one! Jacuzzi was clean, bed was clean and comfortable, fireplace was nice but.......got charged a $50 fee that said was going to be refunded and still haven't seen it on bank statement or explained why with no paperwork to back it, shower walls had not been wiped down, furniture was out dated and had stains, carpet was dirty and also had stains and breakfast was extremely poor!!!!! Staff was very rude!

This is the worst hotel!!! If you need anything they will hand you a number to call - YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!!! I booked a jacuzzi suite and they gave me a suite and said they couldn’t switch me to the room I paid for and booked even though I was the only guest in the hotel! Room was dusty, lamp was missing a lamp shade, tv didn’t work, water was luke warm at best so I guess it’s good I didn’t get a jacuzzi - who wants to soak in cold water!?!?! And the furniture had stains. It would seem the staff is there to book people in and out and that’s it! They are basically robots!!! I wouldn’t waste your money on this location because they aren’t wasting theirs on any updates at this location.
