The room was clean enough and just fine for what it was. The motel-style layout was fine. Outside noise might be a factor in times of higher occupancy, but I doubt that's often.

That brings me to location: this place is very rural. I was eastbound and I was driving on really small country roads for at least 15-20 minutes. It was easier to get back on the highway eastbound after, though.

The service was great. I got into town late and they were flexible with late checkout. The front desk staff and the cleaners were all very polite.

The hotel is also pet-friendly for a fee of $20. The bed has a wooden frame that goes all the way to the floor so that there's nowhere for a scared kitty to hide. 👀

It's just fine if you're tired and it's the first option. If you want all of the bells and the whistles, keep driving.

Elizabeth at the front desk was extremely polite and welcoming. Hotel right off I 80. Hotel room was very comfortable clean and large. TV channels were plentiful. Pets are welcome. Outdoor pool looks large but I stayed in the winter.

The motel is conveniently located right off the turnpike. The rooms are spacious and basic. There is nothing fancy but it is a great space if you need a safe, comfortable place to sleep. The bed is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is fruit, cereal, yogurt, and pancakes. The highlight is Tracy, at the check in desk. She is friendly, informative and greets everyone with a smile. Days Inn in Wauseon is my choice anytime I need to be in town for business or family!

Very clean and spacious rooms! Furniture is modern and cute with a comfortable armchair and walk-in shower. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay with kids — easy drive-up, large fridge with freezer, microwave, pancake machine, and lots of room for portable crib. Would love to stay here again!

I am a fan of 1950s (historic?) motels - there’s a lot to be said for not having to haul luggage upstairs. Kudos to Days Inn for the great job they did renovating and upgrading this location while maintaining a nostalgic feel. The room was clean and odor free (in stark contrast to my last stay here ~5 years ago). Great bedding, a comfortable mattress, pet friendly, and a pancake maker at the breakfast bar! Friendly, attentive front desk staff.

Overall, I would stay again but they could use some updates. The bathrooms are old and outdated but good water pressure and tub and sink drain good. The beds are OK but mattress sinks in. The staff was very nice and helpful. Coffee pots not in the room but if you ask the front desk they will furnish you one with coffee.

First and most importantly, this place is very clean! It was also very quiet. A very friendly and welcoming young woman checked me in. This is not a luxury property, but it’s very well maintained. It’s an old fashioned motel, so no matter where your room is, your car is right outside your door. Very convenient. And the place is right across from the exit of I-80 eastbound. You can’t miss it. No driving for miles, looking for the place! Simple but nice hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely, perfect hotel with great pricing. Great staff and was super clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling and need a place to rest your head with a staff that makes you fell like a relative instead of a guest.
