Inexpensive compared to other motel/hotels in the area but better than others I've stayed in for around the same price. The room was adequately clean, furnished, parking directly outside the room. Staff was pleasant. I would stay again if I we're in the area again.

What can I say about a forty-dollar-room? A lot actually. But let me say this first, arrive during daylight hours because the manager/owner refuses to put ample lighting on the sign to the entrance, and unless you know where it is, you AINT GONNA SEE IT!

So much so is it hard to find, I spent the previous night in a different motel the night before, which is just across the street, and I never noticed the Travel Inn. And since it was quite late, and I was on the phone with Vicky, she was nice enough to talk me in. I was flabbergasted at the location and even more so by a business that does not shine a bright light on their sign.

By the way if you go on line and pre-book your room, it is $36.00 for a single, nonsmoker's room. And guess what, that includes all taxes.

Okay the room itself, great value for your buck! The room was clean and maintained a medium sized microwave, and a decent sized refrigerator. I stayed four nights here, and had the same room three nights my first visit. There never was an issue of noise, not even from the parking lot. You can drive right up to your door for loading and unloading which is convenient for me since I have to make several trips using my walker.

All the staff that I encountered, especially Vicky, were friendly and helpful.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, "Mrs. Gorbachev. light up your sign!!!"

I was stuck in Perrysburg for the weekend with a broken down bus. This place was $75 for 2 nights including all taxes and fees. The rooms were very clean, every channel you could imagine on TV and overall it was a great stay for the value. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and there's plenty of parking for big trucks and RV's pulling trailers. I pulled into their lot with a 45' tour bus and 16' trailer and had no problem parking and maneuvering. I do have to say there aren't any places to eat within a short walk that I saw but I did order food from Oasis to be delivered and it was really good! There is a refrigerator (the larger size for a smaller hotel fridge) and a microwave so perfect for ordering lots of food delivered and warming up the left-overs. One thing I would recommend to this place is that they invest in nicer pillows. At this price I don't expect much but with them re-doing all the rooms and I believe being under new ownership I think they should have nicer pillows and bath towels. If you take your own pillows and bath towels you will be all set!!

Good place to stay if your in area for contractual work. $200 a week for a workers extended stay isn't bad. This isn't a high end motel, it's for people coming to area for work. No bed bugs, clean and quite. You gave to go around about way to get there, but that was the new interstates fault. Pull it up on GPS and it will get you there. The problem with housekeeping was addressed by management, a new staff is in place and doing a good job. Maintenance is good and quick to respond. Management is good and won't tolerate any problems or illegal activities. If you try and play a stupid game there, you will win a stupid prize. The police really enjoy removing people that cause problems. Also the indoor swimming pool is now open.

we stayed here for one night on the way out to Chicago from PA. It was really cheap and the bed was great. The shower had good water pressure. The towels are low quality but they smelled clean. overall, it was just right for our budget and glad we stayed here. would stay here again if in the area.

First, this review is based on the room I stayed in for the night so conditions & opinions may vary. Second, keep in mind the price you are paying. If you expect a 4 or 5 star motel at a minimal price, you may be disappointed. But if you want a clean, adequate stay akin to an older Motel 6, then you'll find it here. You'll see the entire motel off of the interstate clear enough, but once you head down a back country lane between the corn & soy fields, you may begin to think you took a wrong turn. Then, when you approach the entrance at the end of the dead end lane, you'll see an abandoned building to your right and what looks like an equally abandoned parking lot leading to overgrown, hidden unknowns. But just drive past all that and you'll see the office and the rest of the motel appear. I was greeted promptly enough and exchanged my infos via a slot through the security window. That kinda made me wonder if the area was safe or not, but being way out in the darken countryside, I can understand why. Don't let that scare you away. There was no one I saw creeping around, just a couple guys with work truck equipment in back. Now on to the room. My room was clean enough for an older motel: older color TV with cable, a clean refrigerator, clean microwave, phone, a table & 1 chair. The room smelled abit musty when I entered - almost reminiscent of left over cigarette smoke in the "non-smoking" room, but it seemed to lessen as the room cooled in the AC. The bathroom had 2 sets of towels, no tissues in the holder and a hair dryer which I didn't use so I can't comment if it worked or not. It smelled very musty/moldy, but I think it was from stagnant water deep down on the pipes because as the sink filled up, it was slow to drain. Yet, still, everything was clean enough. The AC console worked steady throughout the night, but the temps dropped down to 54F and I still had the AC on "High Cool" at #5. Which leads me to wonder if on very hot days, does the AC even work adequately?! Plus, I was sleeping by myself. When I did wake up, I admit while comfortable, I turned the heat on low to chase off the chill as I got ready for the day, but after 10-15 minutes, the fire alarm started chipping intermediately. I turned off the heater, fanned the alarm and it quit. So if you do stay and know you're gonna need the heater - first thing would be to keep the door open for a few minutes and let the initial heat fumes burn off. This is what the girl in the office told me they do. An added plus was free WiFi! Strong enough to watch YouTube videos & peep in on my home security webcam. They only serve coffee in the morning, but there are 2 popular truck stops only a mile past the corn fields where you can get anything else you may need or wish to eat. In conclusion, you can't beat the price for the room you get. Clean, quiet, adequate.

Me and my wife stayed here for a night on the way from NY to Wisconsin. It was very cheap ($38) and really worth the price. The room and bathroom were generally clean and they provided a microwave, refrigerator, iron, TV and a hair drier in the room. Microwave & refrigerator weren't things I expected for this cheap price! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again if I have to stop at somewhere closer to Ohio turnpike.

Super friendly and helpful clerk when I checked in. I initially gave 5 stars, however a few days after getting home from my stay I noticed what I'm guessing were bed bugs crawling about. With a slew of bites. And since I didn't have them before this trip, and this was the only place I stayed, I have to assume I picked them up here. So check your stuff really well if staying here. I'm hoping they get things cleaned up because the stay and location were great.
