This hotel was $150.00+ plus for a one-night stay and definitely was not worth the money. The first thing we encountered was being overwhelmed by a strong smell of chlorine when we first entered the room, which did not go away during our entire stay. We discovered that our room was right above the hotel swimming pool, and the smell apparently seeps up into the rooms above.
If you are looking for a restful night's sleep, you will not find it on the mattresses at this hotel. They are horrible! They are thin, lumpy, and uncomfortable. The pillows are not good as well. They go flat as soon as you lay your head on them. Also, the room is located right next to I-75, and you hear traffic noise all night long while trying to sleep. Between the horrible mattress and traffic noise, I did not get a wink of sleep the entire night. The furniture in the room is stained, the shower curtain rod is screwed up, and you cannot close the shower curtain. I am sorry if this review sounds very negative, but the state of our room was very disappointing, If my family and I are back in the area again, we will definitely not be staying at this hotel!
To state the positives, the room layout has a nice flow, the pool and hot tub are excellent, the hot breakfast tasted good, and the staff are very friendly.

We walked in around 130 am hoping they had a room available. The night clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean. I honestly have no complaints. The hallway smelled of weed but that was gone in the am. The shower was hot with great water pressure. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The pool was open and looked clean. There is a small fitness center. Breakfast choices were good. The staff working breakfast was happy and smiling. The stay was worth the cost.

Our family of 4 visited to go to a college tour at BGSU. ||Pros: great price, location, ease of parking, free parking, clean room, really friendly front desk staff, easy drive to BG, indoor pool and hot tub with adult only hours.||Cons: pretty murky, dirty hot tub and no towels at the pool, but to be fair that was not really their fault, there were TONS of kids in it when we were there and they did their best to keep up with refilling the towels, but it was definitely not enjoyable to have no towels. The breakfast was one of the worst ones I’ve experienced at a hotel, but for the price point of the hotel, I’d still stay here again and just plan for breakfast elsewhere. There were a lot of traveling sports teams when we were there so there were kids absolutely everywhere, but the hotel can’t control that, just be aware that you may encounter that because of the location. Be prepared for a lot of kids in the lobby, pool and running through the halls, not a huge deal for us, but may bother people there on business. ||I gave 4 stars because the front desk was so nice, our room was clean and the price was very fair for the accommodations and location.

Don't waste your money. We showed up at check in time, to be told they had not cleaned our room. Offered us a lesser room at the same price. No thank you. We left, came back an hour later, still not ready. We waited, they said they checked it and it was clean and immaculate. We walked in, the floors didn't get swept, debris on floor, shower has long black hair all over the floor, smashed bug on the bed spread, light bulb didn't work, stains on the pillow case and sheets. We had to go to the front desk and ask for a lightbulb and ask them to clean it again. They said we would get a discount for the wait and dirty room. They never gave us a discount. Worst hotel we had ever stayed in. Front desk girl was very rude at 3pm. Hotel halls were filthy. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. We would have left but it was nonrefundable. The breakfast was horrible. They obviously don't care about the customers or the cleanliness of the hotel, or the customer service. This was our anniversary weekend that was ruined by this horrible stay. I should have looked deeper into the reviews because they are horrible, I would have never booked here. My fault for not looking into deeper. Good luck if you stay here

We checked in late due to attending a concert. The night staff was was welcoming and helpful. There wasn't a freezer portion in the fridge. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast and was cut off strictly at 9:30a with a safety gate. We stayed here for less than 12 hours. Overall experience was good and I would recommend to others.

Stayed two nights at Country Inn, Toledo South. We only planned one night & needed to stay a second. Everything was booked because it’s valentine’s weekend, but thanks to Jenna we were able to get us a second night. Traveling with someone who just had surgery, so she made sure our room was right by the elevator. This will be our place to stay whenever we are in the area. Clean rooms, pet friendly, and great staff! And, it has a pretty decent breakfast.

We stayed at this property for a Friendsgiving celebration in the meeting room. The staff was overwhelmingly accommodating to our needs and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The business center printer was down, but the front desk staff gladly printed off a document I needed. Breakfast in the morning was on point and, although we didn't use it, the pool and fitness center looked nice. Would definitely stay again if traveling in the area!

We stayed 2 nights for a tournament. Accommodations were pleasant and the staff were very helpful. The area was nice, it felt quiet and safe. Close drive to many restaurants and grocery. Room was quiet and clean. We enjoyed coffee maker in room and also the hot breakfast with waffle maker, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, juice, yogurt, toast, bagels, English muffins, tea and coffee. It was a very economical stay and we would definitely return to stay here if ever back in Toledo.
