I thought this place was gonna be full blown AMISH. But for what it turned out to be, it was a place to eat, hot food and great service. We ended up trying the lunch buffet. It had a nice variety of options with a great salad and soup bar. We got our fill and a few goodies from the bakery up front. The staff is super welcoming and courteous.
The dinning room is large enough to accommodate any size party. Its very clean and spacious.
If your looking for some quick comfort style food...you'll enjoy this spot.

You know...going into a place like this, you expect to get some really good, homemade food and a country environment. Instead, our food looked and tasted like food out of a box... the buffet is $18.99 per person and it was a glorified salad bar with 3 soups to choose from 1 or 2 meats, and some sides. The desserts weren't horrible but definitely didn't taste homemade. As far as where you eat, it looks like a glorified school cafeteria, with no music and no decor. This was my first time there and definitely my last. The only thing good there was our waitress, Sydney. She was on top of making sure our drinks were full, we had everything we needed, and was very nice and polite. I really hope this place upgrades their quality of food...... for $18.99, ill take my money else where.

Stopped in to try out the bakery. It's really good. I had a Bavarian filled creme stick and a blackberry fry pie

The creme stick was light, fluffy, and was just delicious. Really liked how light the icing was.

The fry pie was the best though. First off, they are huge. They are at least twice the size of any other fry pie I've had. The filling is really good and the crust was flaky, but didn't fall apart when eating it.

The bakery isn't huge. But what they have is really tasty. Highly recommend stopping in to treat yourself sometime.

I was very disappointed to spend so much money for the quality of food I got. $18.99 for the limited options and the food was flavorless and not fresh. The mashed potatoes were gluey, the gravy was bland and lumpy, and the green beans came from a can. When we got there during the height of dinner on a Saturday, there were only a few pieces of chicken that had been sitting for some time. The dessert what good.

I've never ate there but I stopped at their bakery I got four donuts It was $14 granted they were huge and they were very very decadent looking. But they were so sickness sweet I literally threw them in the garbage when I got home. Donuts don't just have to look good they have to taste good too

Had dinner buffet. Food has good flavor, cooked properly. You have the option for only soup and salad bar or add hot food for an additional $3. Salad bar has additional cold choices. Bean salad, cole slaw etc. Hot food is semi limit selection. But flavor, taste make up for that. There is a store with a bakery also. We bought a brownie and custard creme stick. Both were delicious. The butter creme icing was the best maple icing I've ever had! It melted in my mouth, so buttery.

The dining room has had a beautiful make over. The entryway salad bar is gone and a full buffet at the far end of the dining room is a great new addition.

The seasonal pumpkin French toast was a huge hit!

The cream sticks called to us at check out. They are massive and wonderful!

This place used to be the best and people lined up outside just to get in. Took my elderly Dad for lunch. Was fully disappointed! Barely anyone there, it was a Saturday, so normally would have been packed back in the day! Seated in good time (plenty of seats available) He wanted the salad bar, which for most “Amish” salad bars is all you need. Food looked disgusting, but did t want to spoil his idea, so didn’t say anything. Got to the salad bar and the very first item (lettuce) was definitely from the day before, as well as other options which apparently aren’t selling or being used enough! I found the waitress and said can we get some fresh lettuce? It’s brown! Oh, of course, young man immediately brought out new lettuce. Bar was less than appealing with a couple of meats that looked like they sat in the water for days and were very dry. Even the dessert section was a bit scary with open air to them and flies around. Will not return. Of course the gift shop was normal for “Amish” restaurant and large bakery area-almost as big as dining area. But, as much bakery items they had, all were very large portions, but didn’t look like they make them there or were they looking fresh. On one last note, we saw the waitress give other tables what appeared to be fresh bread baskets, which we were not offered!

Go up
