OK, this place is amazing!
We came here today for the first time!
We just looked at the menu and thought the burgers looked good! We had no idea you could rent games at your table! It was so much fun! They have games for ages 3-99! Our waitress was so nice finding games for my 3 year old!
We can't wait to come back!

Stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was not crowded. They have quite a few board games that you can play during your time here. There is a bar area and ample seating inside. They have a dozen beers on tap plus seasonal cocktails. The menu consists of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. I had a gyro, and my wife tried the Italian sub sandwich. Both were good. Our server, who was also the bartender, was attentive and friendly.

Very warm and welcoming staff. Knowledgable of the menu and able to provide great recommendations for new comers.
I recommend the Mediterranean Mezze. The lamb meatball are juicy, slammed with flavor and pair excellent with the “star of the show” an unexpected contender - whipped beet and feta.
Can’t go wrong with the brunch classic - chicken and waffles topped with hot honey and maple syrup. Classic grilled cheese with bacon, I requested they add chicken.
In the Chili world there are two sides . The one who says chili requires beans and the wrong side 😂 these guys fall under the latter. Still packed with flavor just not my cup of tea.

Just sat at the bar. I didn't order any food this time, but from what I could see the food looked great. Our bartender Megan was awesome! She was fun to talk to and was always making sure we didn't need anything. There are a ton of different board games that you can sit at a table and play. No billiard tables or dart boards as of yet. I definitely plan on stopping in again.

A Standout Local Gem in a Sea of Fast Food

I’ve been to Great Oaks Tavern multiple times, and it’s always a fantastic experience! In a town filled with fast food options, it’s wonderful to have a local business that offers something truly unique. Their seasonal menu is a highlight—constantly rotating with fresh, creative dishes that bring exciting flavors you won’t find anywhere else.

Even though I don’t drink alcohol, I love that the focus here isn’t just on drinks but also on high-quality, delicious food. Every dish I’ve tried has been thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors are always on point.

The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is consistently friendly and attentive. They truly care about the dining experience and are happy to offer recommendations.

If you’re looking for something beyond the usual chain restaurants, Great Oaks Tavern is a must-visit. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

By far the best restaurant in Wadsworth. I've never had a bad meal here. Great atmosphere and the games and events make it a fun place to spend hours hanging out.
The daytime bartender Brianna is an absolutely wonderful person. She is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, managing the entire dining room by herself through lunchtime without any issue. Every business would be lucky to have an amazing employee like her. I could not possibly say enough good things about Brianna to even come close to the praise that she deserves.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after going to a nearby sunflower field. We got the pretzel for an appetizer. The pretzel itself was good, but personally I wasn't a fan of the dipping sauces, which were honey mustard, spicy mustard, and beer cheese. I got the pesto chicken panini sandwich with fries and my boyfriend got the black and bleu burger. We both really liked our meals. Also we think the idea of having board games to play is a fun idea.

There is nothing special about this place. Service was just ok, and food was sub-par. Started with drinks and an appetizer. Ordered the "blood and honey" drink, which was served without the signature smoked salt, and no offer to bring some or remake the drink. Had to ask for a new glass of water twice after the first 2 glasses both had a bug in them.

Had the French Connection appetizer, essentially poutine but with etouffe. Crayfish were cold, from a can, and definitely not cooked in the etouffe, which was barely warm. Could have been great but was just "meh". Greek salad was good. Pulled pork sandwich was just ok. Although menu said it would be served with a side of BBQ, it was not and had to ask.

The restaurant was relatively full on a Wednesday evening when we arrived, and I attribute the slow service to there being too few servers. It was also very loud.

No plans to return.
