If ya love a busy cafe, this is the space for you! The Fox in the Snow boasts a variety of delicious baked goods, savory and sweet pastries, coffee and plenty more. It is nothing but popular and was packed full, we were lucky to get a seat. Regardless, the food was quick and was quite good, though my cappuccino lacked in foam and took a while.
This place is like much of Columbus: has bourgeois hype, is expensive, overly busy and quite loud. The quality of food, however, is pretty good. Try it and see!
Mistake: going on a Saturday noon...

My wife and I visited today for the first time from out of town and had a wonderful experience! The egg sandwich was incredible. The pastries and iced coffee were also great. We are on our honeymoon and one of the workers gave us a free pastry, which was so incredibly sweet. Everyone was so nice and the place was very cute.

The atmosphere of this cafe is beautiful, the barista and staff are totally amazing! We had different pastries but the cinnamon roll and the strawberry diamond were my favorite. Also we ate the baguette which is great and the presentation is really cute.

If you’re willing to work, talk or just be with yourself this is the go-to place 🫶🏻✨

The food was so good and fairly priced. The hot chocolate is to die for! Perfectly balanced and at a warm and cozy drinkable temperature right away. The service was excellent! Highly recommend if you are local or from out of town like we are.

Visited for the first time while I’m traveling through Ohio from out of state. I’m a professional baker and cook of 17 years and these have got to be some of the best pastries I have ever had. Got the biscuit, blueberry danish and apple pie danish. Absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Baristas were friendly, vibe was chill. This place is giving me a reason to come back to Columbus !

First time here with friends, and I was extremely impressed with the pastry selection. The Blueberry Galette was probly the best pastry I've ever eaten. We also had the Everything Bagel Cheese Danish and Apple Pie Danish. All were superb and filling. Now I want to try the others I didn't get. Also shared an Egg n Bacon Sandwich which was fresh and filling.

The place is small, and crowded on a weekend, so arrive early. Its a walk up service and they bring out your order. All the ppl behind the counter were very friendly and helpful.

Need to return next time I'm in Columbus!

The coffee is okay, not the best I've had. The pastries are okay as well but I think they would be a lot better if they were able to heat them up, I was told that they could not heat them up for us.

Fox in the Snow Bakery, I really wanted to love you, but the experience left me scratching my head. Let’s start with the cappuccino: served in a tiny 6oz cup. Why? Are we rationing milk these days? A proper cappuccino deserves at least 10-12oz to shine, but I guess it was fine—just not memorable enough to make up for the size.
Now, onto the pastries, where things got... interesting. The flavors were decent, but the execution felt like a series of questionable decisions. For instance, salted butter in sweet pastries? Bold choice, but not the good kind of bold. It completely disrupted the balance, especially in the chocolate mousse cruffin, which was an emotional rollercoaster. I was promised filling inside, only to find it awkwardly sitting on top. And the texture? Soft, dense, and sadly not the fluffy masterpiece it should’ve been.
The biscuit with raspberry jam was another letdown. First off, it was absurdly salty, and the biscuit itself could probably double as a hockey puck. Oh, and the "jam"? Barely there. I had to squint to find it.
The blueberry scone was the one saving grace—relatively better than the rest. But the apple open Danish? Good grief, it was drowning in sugar, leaving my taste buds crying for mercy.
Overall, Fox in the Snow feels like that overachiever who just tries too hard and misses the mark. There’s potential, sure, but please, less salt, fewer sugar bombs, and a little more thought in the execution next time.
