My partner and I decided to try TownePlace Suites here in Columbus, OH for the first time and are so glad we did! Nothing but positive reviews from this world traveller. Our suite was extremely clean and conveniently near an ice machine and laundry room. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. There is free on-site parking and we were able to walk to a lot of cool restaurants and sights. Towne’s continental breakfast is very yummy and also convenient. The bonus at the end of our stay was that check out wasn’t until noon! We highly recommend this as an excellent establishment. Thanks, all!

Had a quick, impromptu visit to Upper Arlington and wanted to find a hotel that was in walking distance to decent food and activities. TownePlace Suites fit the bill perfectly! Room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning did the trick! Will stay here any time I'm in Upper Arlington in the future.

I recently worked with Stacey and team at TownePlace Suites - OSU while planning accommodations for my wedding, and her service was truly exceptional. Throughout the process, we had numerous itinerary changes, some even at the last minute, and Stacey handled everything with professionalism and efficiency. She was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my guests were well taken care of. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Stacey made the accommodations aspect so much easier. I can't thank her enough for her dedication and excellent customer service!

Our guests were also extremely happy when it came to the accommodations themselves. The hotel’s location is within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and stores. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the provided breakfast was great too!

Went for an overnight Cheer competition and stayed at TownePlace Suites. This place was exceptionally nice. The building itself was located in a nice little shopping section north of Columbus. It's very easy to get to. The lobby and first floor dining area were very clean with fresh coffee even later at night. The rooms were great. We stayed in a room with a single kinflg size bed, and the room was just right, not too big or too small. There was a small dining area with two burners, a dishwasher, a sink with garbage disposal, and a fridge. The bed was comfy, with thr exception of the pillows (this is my only complaint-but a first worl problem). The pillows were a softer down pillow and am just not comfortable on the. The bathroom was very spacious with a nice walk in shower with glass sliding doors. Breakfast in the morning was what one would expect from a hotel, eggs, sausage, variety of breads, waffle ingredients, oatmeal, and breakfast cereal choices. All in all, a very nice stay and would definitely recommend!

We were in Columbus for a two week unplanned stay because of a family emergency (loved one in hospital ICU). We moved to the Marriott Towneplace OSU because after 4 nights at Staybridge OSU and our status, they had no room for us (we are lifetime Diamond members at Hilton and Diamond Elite at IHG-Holiday Inn Staybridge. We don’t usually stay at Marriott). I was a mess when I called Towneplace and spoke to Patrick and he said “Come check in, we got you”. He let us check in early- at noon, he offered a medical rate, a clean and comfortable room. Breakfast area was very tidy, comfortable and food was delicious. It’s the little things too-offered free soap/dryer sheets for use in their onsite washers, gladly printed emails, and made copies for me. It was a stress free, welcoming environment. All their staff was friendly, professional and wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. |Their guests included families with lots of kids/traveling sports teams, professionals attending meetings, a rock band (John Waite), families with their dogs—and all were treated kindly and welcomed. The front desk staff (day and night) care about their guests, made a point to chat and are so helpful. Truly, I can’t say enough. |Now that we are not staying for business, Marriott will be our choice.

Great service. They take care of your needs with amazing service.
Rooms are great and comfortable. Love having dishes and a fridge in the room for longer stays. Nice bathroom / shower setup. Workout room is open 24 hrs. Comfortable lobby too.
Beds are a little too firm for my preference, but overall a fantastic 4 day stay.

The Queen Suite was very spacious and clean. The closet had a lot of storage space and there were sheets, blankets and pillow for the pull out couch. The breakfast had a very good variety to choose from and I appreciated that coffee was available early or late. The fitness center is well equipped with treadmills, ellipticals and free weights. All of the machines were very clean and well maintained. There is a huge sitting area off the main desk area- and many different groups took advantage of it. There is also an outside sitting area and grills available as well. There's a market across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The thing that stood out were the employees. From the desk attendants to the breakfast people to the landscapers to the housekeepers. Everyone was personable and seemed to enjoy their jobs! This is very unusual as it seems many places have trouble getting or keeping staff. Upper Arlington is a nice community and there are plenty of walking opportunities and parks not too far from this hotel as well. This hotel is very close to OSU- you could probably walk to the football stadium from here.

We had the most amazing , last minute, booking experience here after an airbnb mishap. It was an extremely busy weekend where every hotel in a 10 mile radius was fully booked. We needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights. For our first night, were able to get one of the last rooms here late at night for a fair price. For our second night, "D" who is the most kind, hardworking, and empathetic man was able to get us the LAST ROOM to accommodate us. Cannot stress enough how great "D" and the hotel was. We will only be staying at this hotel from here on out for any trips to Columbus.
