I've been here before and had BBQ, but today, I had a burger and fries. It seems this place can make a great burger at a reasonable price. The fries were crispy standard crinkle fries, so good job. Folks are always friendly. Worth visiting.

me and my entire family have been getting food from bama bbq for years. and it’s always great! i usually get the Large Cheeseburger plate with fries and baked beans. but i also really love the smoked wings! if you haven’t been to this restaurant yet i highly recommend to give it a try, not only is the food delicious but customer service is amazing as well. would give more than 5 stars if i could. 🙂

Bama is a hidden gem. While it doesn't have the name recognition of Dreamland or Archibalds you should definitely give them a chance. On this visit I had the smoked wing plate. It consisted of smoked wings, a slice of loaf bread, potato salad, and baked beans. The wings are smoked on premises in a pit attached to the building. They cant be beat in Tuscaloosa. Great flavor and falling off the bone. I have had the pulled pork in the past and can report it is above average. The staff is friendly and can be chatty with the regulars. Booths and 8 tabletops for seating.

My husband had the ribs with bahed bean and potato salad. I had their cheeseburger and French fries, and both of us had diet Pepsi. All of the food was really good

This is the BBQ flavor that defines BBQ for me. It's not Sweet or too Vinegary, It's "BBQ". I grew up eating this so I guess that is why this is my opinion. My opinion on Sweet is Full Moon, My opinion on Vinegary is Dream land or Archibald & Woodrowe's. Also I love their bread!

My daughter called in an order of 100 wings for me. I use to live in Northport and would buy their wings all the time. The first red flag was when the person answered the phone. We asked for 100 wings and the person acted shocked and was rude, then went to see if the cook could do the order, she said yes. Well when my daughter went to pick them up, everyone one stared at her like she was not supposed to be there. She stated that the cashier just stood there and looked at her. She finally said I have a call in for 100 wings. The cook heard here and came to let her know that they ready it was only then when the cashier tried to play nice. It’s a shame that people of color are still being treated like they don’t belong. I will never buy from them again.

Amazing!!!
Just eat lunch. It was perfect.
I love to find places like this to eat. It was just a ? of feeling when you get up to leave and you hear thank you. It stopped me in my and me want to stay and order more.....
