I love Rising Star so very much! They really put their heart and soul into coffee sourcing and roasting the best coffee. Their menu is full of delicious choices - pour over, lattes, teas, treats from Spice, seasonal exciting choices, and more. They also have a great assortment of coffee beans that they source from global coffee farms. The ambiance is always relaxed, the space is inviting, and service is amazing. I have been a customer of Rising Star for a while, and recently was even more impressed with their ability to handle events and large crowds. Can’t say enough good things! Just consistently amazing! Give them a try!

Stopped here for a quick coffee and the space is beautiful! Super bright, lots of natural light and window and plenty of seating. Would be a perfect place to work/study at for a few hours!

I got the cardamon bomb latte (as recommended by the barista) and it was delicious! I went midday on a Monday and it seemed like most of their bagels were out so maybe something to keep in mind if you wanted to grab food. Can’t wait to come back!

Modern aesthetic, traditional service, coffee shop! I’m arriving as it hasn’t been at this location for very long but I enjoyed the ambiance and I think that they are very deserving of accolades for the presentation of coffee, level of service, and taste of coffee (so delicious!). The owner is not skimping, is not overcharging us, and that matters. I’m so glad this space is filled again and south Taylor is coming alive again. You might miss it because it’s not heavy on outdoor signage (hopefully that changes so people can spot it) but yeah it’s right across from DMV, so wait there while you wait in that forever line if you know what I mean.

Checked out this new location for the first time. I think it’ll become a new regular spot for me! There’s plenty of seating, including lots of couches. I do think the prices are a bit more than some of the other local coffee shops, but probably commensurate with the other Rising Star locations.

My favorite coffee shop just got even better! The new location is beautiful with big windows that flood the space with natural light—perfect for studying or just hanging out. The coffee is amazing as always, locally roasted, and ethically sourced. The addition of vegan food is a huge plus, and everything I've tried has been delicious.

Love this coffee shop and location! Baristas have all been lovely, and the drinks are delicious. SuperLove that they always have vegan and GF baked good and food options and that they use local sources for the goods they offer. Definitely recommend!

First time coming here. I liked everything about this place. Reminded me of a mom pop shop...those are always the best.
The staff were too awesome and very helpful since I'm new to the coffee world.
The atmosphere was good and chill.
I ordered a cappuccino and a hot chocolate and both tasted great, although I did put a lot of Splenda in the cappuccino.
Wouldn't mind going back again.

Coffee tasted good, but it still was an American version of espresso.

Unfortunately they have no place to seat. They say that after 4:30 it’s takeout only.

And there were limited options to compliment coffee with some quick bite
