It was a nice experience for me for the most part. There seems to be an issue of lack. Multiple times during my stay, I heard a few of the guests put in different requests. Some requests were for towels, and the staff members had to find some, then a guest asked about a certain room, but they had to check to see if it was clean because their system was showing that the room wasn't clean, so the staff member had to go check to see if it was dirty. During my booking process, I had put in a special request to be on the first level as I have children and wanted to be considerate of the other guests in the hotel, but upon arrival and check-in, the staff member informed me that the system is showing that our room was dirty, so the staff member made a quick decision to resolve that issue, and gave us another room, but was on the second floor. I also put in a request for more toilet tissue, and they had to search for some and then brought up facial tissue boxes instead. We also was informed via online with our check-in information that because of the length of our stay, which was two nights, we wouldn't be getting housekeeping until check out. The marketplace that is located in the lobby had very few items in it during my time of stay and is very small. The parking lot is not that big and can fill up pretty quickly, but I guess it's enough for the guest.

Despite the last-minute changes to our rooms, the lack of supplies and items in the market, and no housekeeping during our stay.

I don't fault the staff members, as all the issues that were faced seems to be more of a chain of supply issue and possibly a short staffing issue regarding the housekeeping and multiple rooms not being cleaned and available when checking in, nor available during our stay.

I was actually happy with the services provided by the staff members at the front desk. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I feel that they were doing the best that they could to work with what they had available to accommodate the guests.

I gave 4 stars for the housekeeping service, not for the staff members, I would give them 5 stars. But, due to the lack of housekeeping service and my original room that I had booked a week in advance as a special request, it was not available to me upon checking
In due to not being cleaned.

The location was great. Surrounded by a lot of stores, food chains, and restaurants, with Bob Evans being in walking distance. So, if you forgot anything, you would have plenty of stores to choose from right across the hotel and surrounding areas.

First off there was a young woman named Azeril (May have spelled her name wrong) she was a new employee working the front desk around 2 AM when we came in. She was very polite and was really struggling. And had to call someone because she had computer issues. She just didn’t understand and it seemed like she was just thrown in there. She had a great attitude the entire time. About 30 minutes went by, she was on the phone talking to someone to help her out. When a man sitting with three other women in the lobby I thought was just a group of guests. But he walked behind the counter to start helping this young woman. He watched us 4 guest try to check in with her for 30 minutes before he came over to help. His name is Ray. It says a lot about Rays character that Azeril would rather call someone else rather than bother him and his two friends drinking in the lobby. It seemed like Ray was bothered he had to get up from sitting in the lobby not working, to come over and assist her. The rooms were great, she was great and Ray should not be in the hospitality business. If I came in and see him again, I would just go another hotel.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Akron Green for one night while attending an event at Hopping Frog Brewery. We found the hotel to be perfectly located for our needs after a 5 hour drive from NY. The hotel and our rooms were spotlessly clean, charming and very comfortable. The beds were great, and the shower water pressure was impressive! We loved the holiday decorations and the breakfast. The staff we encountered Daviana, Natasha, and Diane were the icing on the cake. Everyone was so friendly and attentive it made our stay special. We will definitely stay at this hotel Everytime we are in the area! As Marriott members we appreciate finding gems to return to, and this hotel will be added to the love list!!

Waited long enough for management to get back to me. The housekeepers are thieves. For years and years I’ve stayed in hotels for prolonged periods of times. I have never had anything go missing from my room until I stayed at this hotel. I notified front desk, spoke to managers and nothing was resolved. I was told someone would get back to me, 3 months later still no communication. If you do have to stay here, make sure you take your valuables with you….even your clothes.

All the positive reviews of front desk employee Daviana are true. She was super friendly, attentive, and very accommodating during my stay. I had room 425 for my family. The room was clean and spacious. During my stay I saw their employee's busy either mopping the floors or vacuuming the hallways. Top notch cleanliness of the hotel. Only bad thing was my shower didn't drain but I was I able to get that resolved myself by removing the excess hair below the metal cover. Overall my stay was 10/10! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you making my stay so great!

This hotel is absolutely ridiculous and will scam you out of your money. I booked a hotel for my daughter's 1st birthday from March 21st to the 23rd. The site that it booked through was a third party site, which I understand. The site I booked through lead me to believe it was a lot cheaper than what they charged me at the end, note there was no summarized quote before I purchased so I assumed it was the nighty rate they quoted it to be. Well they charged me over $200 more than I had expected and I was not happy with that. I then canceled the reservation thinking I could call the hotel directly to get a better price. Now let me tell you never did it tell me that this room was non-refundable UNTIL after I canceled the reservation. Now you can call me out if I'm wrong, but who in their right mind would cancel a hotel reservation for over $600 and willingly know not only would their daughters first birthday be ruined but they would be out of the $600 Well not me for certain, I don't have it like that. So I called the third party booking company and they basically said all they could do was reach out to the hotel and see if they could give me a complimentary one time refund. Just confirmed with an email today that they would not. Mind you I have been calling daily to speak with Cody who is a manager at Residence Inn and he was never in and he never called me back. I finally talked to a Roy today who basically made me feel like a complete idiot and dismissed me as soon as he possibly could. So basically if you want to be screwed and scammed by all means stay there. Guess they just got all $615 of my money and my daughter does not get a first birthday party cause this momma works very hard for her money and that's more than what I had to spare to make this happem.

I recently had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn Akron South/Green and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff, Daviana and Natasha were welcoming and helpful. They greeted us with smiles and provided excellent suggestions for a nearby dinner spot.

What really impressed us was their willingness to go above and beyond. We realized we had forgotten to print our tickets for a local attraction, and the staff graciously assisted us in getting them printed. They were so understanding and helpful, turning a potentially stressful situation into a smooth and easy fix.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our suite was spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each day. While we didn't use the the on-site fitness center or pool during our stay, we appreciated the convenience of having it available.

My husband called and reserved a room. I called back 1 minute later and cancelled because we realized we didn’t need the room the next day. They told me it was cancelled and I was good. The next day they charge my card $139. I called and they told me it was a cancellation fee. Are you kidding me? I called 1 minute after he reserved it. They screwed us. Watch out for these people. They will screw you out of money. There should have been no cancellation fee since I called 1 minute later and they could have rented the room out. These people are ridiculous!!!!!!
