This was the worst experience of my life in a hotel. We had a fire and had to stay a total of a month and a half. Housekeeping was practically nonexistent. I waited 3 days for linens that were dirty the first day I got there. They kept telling me the pool was going to be fixed everyday I was there. (It was never done.) Very disappointing. They re-did the curtains while I was in the room that took about an hour. Then left me with no curtains for about 4 hours. Shay at the front desk was so very rude and unfriendly. Very snippy. The woman who makes breakfast was very pleasant. Jose was incredibly friendly and most helpful. (Very pleasant) The rest of the staff was terribly unfriendly. Except one tall black girl at the front desk. Super nice! Went above and beyond. There was also a staff member in the morning that was ALWAYS sleeping on the job in the lounge. ( older black man) There was a white girl there ( Natalie?) Very nice! All together this stay was awful. Shay made it bad from day one.

Front desk is very helpful in allowing me to keep a reoccurring room. I stay in the hotel ALOT…Heather front desk receptionist was very professional very polite and helping me meet all of my needs while staying in the Hotel. Shay GM also amazing. Jose night shift also great. The staff are very professional & treat me like family every time I visit makes me feel like I am home. Love always recommending to my drives & technicians. Great Hotel.!!!!!

I had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn Akron South Customer service was exceptional front desk was very professional Heather receptionist helped meet all of my needs. Breakfast was finaminal variety was perfect. The place was very clean. Housekeeping was also exceptional. I will be returning and recommending family and Friends to stay at the Hampton Inn.

Hotel was staffed with friendly Black workers and management. Hotel room had plenty of clean towels and soap. Room was spacious and clean. Located close to Target and many restaurants.||Something needs to be done about the automatic slamming hotel doors. Very loud. The hotel walls were a bit thin. Breakfast fruit/food was not ripe or healthy.

Wonderfully helpful and cheerful desk clerks. Comfortable and clean. Best of the Hampton Inns I have stayed in. Lot of restaurants within 1 mile. 1 minute to interstate 77.

Nice room with king bed. The location is convenient to many restaurants, and shopping. Everything is good. Typical Hampton Inn, but, it’s just what I like. Just of I-77. It is only about 8 miles from the Diamond Grille in Akron. And, convenient to Firestone Cc

This is an update from a stay last weekend. had a paid, verified nonrefundable reservation WITH a call to the Hotel stating we would not arrive until 11 to 12 p.m. got there no room was available. We were lied to about a broken pipe. The Hampton in so called support staff continues to just say you have been refunded. The following is my response. Refunding the charge is not enough we went through (PG version) Heck. It threw our whole weekend off. This caused us to sleep in and miss activities we were planning on attending.
Apparently, whomever can't read or blatantly does not care that I feel slighted by the lack of care and response from Hampton by Hilton ?support staff? . I use that term very very loosely. I am so angry right now I can't see straight. Did I mention the staff lied to me about a busted pipe that never happened and placed others in MY ROOM, That the staff had no idea who ( so they say) or if anyone was even in the room. I'm not seeking any financial gains. However, It would be a glimmer of hope that Hampton by Hilton does realize Akron South made a mistake by adding enough points to my "Honors account" for a few nights to use in the next 365 days. This would put this matter to rest. ( in a hotel near you). The sign in the Lobby reads 100% satisfaction guaranteed or we will make it right. FAIL"
