Stopped here for lunch on a business trip. The place is very easily accessible plenty of parking. The food & service was excellent. Very interesting decor inside. This is a recommended stop, I will defiantly stop in again..

We had lunch here during our short stay in Englewood. Our waitress was great, and the interior of the restaurant is really cool, including an old-style fire truck behind the bar. We ordered the brisket burnt ends, sausage, meatloaf, plus sides, and fried pickles as an app. The fried pickles are really good, super crispy and not overly breaded. The burnt ends and sausage were also delicious alone or along with the Carolina BBQ. The sausage has a hint of kick to it, in a great way. Sadly, we weren’t a fan of the meatloaf and felt it was dry, but overall, we’d definitely come back again.

Went there for my birthday weekend from Columbus. Best bbq hands down. Would definitely recommend. I had the ribs delicious hubby had the smoked sausage. It was do good he ordered some to go. Will definitely be going back.

The brisket was very good. Salad was good except for the extra charge for blu cheese dressing which was not noted on the menu. Baked potato was hot. Sweet potato casserole was very dark on top, not sure why. Ribs looked good and onion straws were good.
Service was reasonable however not asked if we needed anything after entrees arrived.

Great food (a lot of it) and great service (Sarah) for a very reasonable price. The only thing I didn’t like was the butter was right out of the fridge so it was hard and wouldn’t spread on the cornbread. I was just passing through the city but would stop here again.

Nice local smokehouse right off I70. Has a sport bar vibe with lots of firehouse decor. As you enter be prepared for fairly loud hard/progressive rock that made soft conversation difficult. We tried combo dinners to get a sampling of meats. The brisket was great, tender and flavorful. My wife like the smoked sausage but I felt it was a little too fine/smooth for my taste. Turkey was awesome. Also loved the baked beans, collards, garlic mashed potatoes. The side salad was incredibly fresh and tasty. The bar is well stocked and has numerous craft and National beers on draft. Service was polite and friendly. They have six signature sauces. Each are worth a try but I liked Chief Smoky and the Commissioner best. Definitely recommend a stop by if you are looking for something new and need to take a break from the highway if you’re not a local.

What a great, unique place to enjoy! The food was delicious. The service was terrific and such a neat atmosphere! We loved it. I would definitely recommend this place if you are traveling on Highway 70 near Dayton.

I recently stopped by Company 7 BBQ to give it a try, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. We ordered the Pulled Chicken Entree with baked potato and green beans, as well as the 3-meat combo, which included a slice of meatloaf, a quarter slab of ribs, two slices of brisket, macaroni and cheese, and cole slaw. These were recommendations from our server.

While the side dishes were hot and flavorful, the meat was a letdown. The pulled chicken was so over-shredded that it was nearly impossible to eat with a fork, and despite adding sauce, it remained bland and dry. The ribs were decent, but the meatloaf was served cold with an unappetizing oily slice of cheddar on top. The brisket was the biggest disappointment—it was burnt and had a texture like tough, dry beef jerky. We ended up not eating it at all. At $54 for the meal, including tip, it didn’t feel worth the price. I was really hoping for fresh, flavorful meats, but unfortunately, this experience didn’t deliver.

On a positive note, the atmosphere was neat, and the waitress was pleasant, which made the visit a bit more enjoyable. However, the food itself just didn’t live up to expectations.
