We stayed in the Firefly cabin. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and how the cabin was stocked. If you want to relax outside, the deck surrounds the entire cabin.
There is currently no WiFi available in that particular cabin, although I understand they are working on trying to make it available. That wasn’t important to us, though, since having a getaway was the whole idea! WiFi is available at the main building should you really need it.
The only downside was that the lane to get to the cabin was a rough ride.
Overall, we were very pleased and we definitely plan to stay here in the future!!

My family has stayed at two of this organizations different Air Bnb’s and both the places greatly exceeded our expectations!
Their cabins/inns have everything, from shampoo, first aid kits, cooking and baking utensils, extra spices and olive oil, dish washer detergent and some stays even have laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
It genuinely feels like home when you stay here!

Not only are the cabin/inns great, but the property that they sit on has amazing sunsets and hiking trails where you can fish, explore a local creek, and enjoy wildlife!
The even had a snack basket in the fridge when we arrived!!
My family can’t wait to come back!!

My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Carpenter Inn and Suites while visiting our daughter at Ohio University. In a sentence, it was hands down, the BEST stay we have ever had, anywhere! We stayed at the Montana Cabin, which is aptly described as a “Woodland Oasis”. The quality that you receive in terms of service, privacy, amenities, professionalism, and affordability, is unmatched. Beautiful wrap-around deck, Jacuzzi bathtub, steam shower, wood burning stove (in addition to modern heat), and a clean/safe feel throughout are just the beginning! In addition, the owners/staff, pay meticulous attention to the “little things” which most certainly do not go unnoticed. These include seasoned wood/newspaper/matches to light the fire, several candles for a romantic feel, oil lamps, hot tea, fresh delicious breakfast, full kitchen with all you need to stay in and cook if you wish….I could go on and on. After two nights and three days there, we simply did not want to go home! In addition to the cabin we stayed in, there are several other options at the Carpenter Inn and Suites which offer differing levels of rustic feel or modern living. We cannot wait to come back and stay at the “Treehouse” with our little children. All in all, you will absolutely NOT be disappointed and quite frankly, we are kicking ourselves in the butt for nights spent in hotels over the years. Any penny spent on anywhere else in the surrounding area is a waste of money in our opinion. Thank you Carpenter Inn for one of the best weekends we have ever had. It was just the refresher that my wife and I needed!

I've heard of this place for years. It's beautiful. Landscaping is manicured. Visited one of the guest houses and was very impressed. Large, well decorated, full kitchen, two bathrooms. Who would have guessed this hidden treasure wad waiting so close to Albany and only minutes from Athens. If you don't mind a quiet country setting, you'll love it here.

We stayed at the Garden View Apt. Turned out to be one of our best b&b experience. The room is spacious (with 3 bedrooms) and artistic. The tub has a sense of ritual that it is located on a few steps against a window facing a private garden. We also tried the grill. At this price level, it is the best one we have seen.

We went for Ohio University Graduation. When we got there no one was there to check us in. We waited 2 hours and finally someone came. The Unit we reserved was already being used. Seriously!!!! Someone was staying there for a long stay & we were to be moved somewhere else. We were to be informed of the move but the Manager didn't notify us & forgot to put us on the property.The Innkeeper Emily went beyond what most people would do. She made what was a Bad Situation into a Good Experience and put us in Cabin in the Woods, a cute little place. The place was small & Very Clean. It had a Full Kitchen with Everything you needed. She made us up a fruit/breakfast basket & brought it down to us. We got information on what Exit Not to take because of traffic. Thank you again Emily for all of your help

Tried to call and make a reservation. Got redirected to 3 other numbers. Then was told the innkeeper couldn't meet us. What's the point in having a hotel if you aren't aren't available.
