Was actually there the last week of last month. It was nice yes needs updated but it was clean. My husband and I we're very happy with our stay. The young lady that checked us in was amazing. So nice and polite. She made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be going back. On our next trip in March.

Room was disgusting.. then I asked to change rooms due to cleanliness and no wifi and they had a fit about it. Then when I got to my new room, they fridge was molded and there was water all over the place. I then called and askdd for a new fridge and to be cleaned and I was told that I complained too much.. they want there money but don't wanna make sure the rooms are clean and have everything working. They are rude and ignorant.

I visited someone I knew who was staying here. This place is outdated and has several guests who call the place home year round.
It's nice it is affordable for folks, but the accomodations are lack-luster and the amenities leave something to be desired.
However, the rural setting is very quiet and nice, with several small stores nearby.

Update: it's been several years since I last visited here, and a lot of my initial impression is still the same. However, it seems they have made some upgrades.
There was a user friendly smart TV. The bedding was new and all white. There were lots of clean towels available and two of each shampoo, bar soap and lotion.
Again, the settings was super quiet and peaceful.
The room was clean in a general sense but upon closer inspection it was very dusty, especially under the bed and behind the TV. The box spring had some ungodly stains on it. And there were several sloppy repairs, patches and " updates" made that were unsightly and poorly done.
But hey, it's not like I could have done anything better. The office staff was friendly and they accepted cash as well as cards for payment.
I have upgraded my rating from 2 to 3 stars.

When I walked in this room I bout wanted to throw up. Who ever gave it 5 is out of their dam mind. It was cold tv was not working. Then ontop of that stains on the comforter and sheets and pillow cases looked like they never been washed. Better yet the bathroom oh yes such a great view of a bathtub/shower believe I wouldn't shower my dog in it. The pictures the post on the on here are false. Here are the pictures I took of the place. Enjoy because I'd never go back I don't know how they even stay open.

Worst place I EVER STAYED🚩 My 84 year Grandmother payed for the room. She went up there with cash and she told her it was extra because she move the bed inside of the room for us to come up from of Pittsburgh. The room already has two beds. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 I’ll post the pictures and let you be the judge. We came all the way from Pittsburgh to this with 3kids. The bin she gave us ice what a broken. Told us she knows the room is clean because she’s the one who cleaned it. I wouldn’t recommend this place for NOTHING I rather sleep outside then this place. When I ask for a refund she said it was too late 8:00pm. I told her she needed to do something because this is no what we thought we was getting. She told me to think about her because she’s losing money. Sorry I will not think about you when you sold us a dirty @$$ room and I came up there with my children.

Love this place, yes it is not updated but it holds it's time in the best way, cleanest cheapest motel u will find for miles and no bugs no worries great if staying for more than on day locally and or weekly rates if u ask.

I stayed new a few years ago and it was ok but now it is a dump made reservations and got there no heat no towels you could have hung meat in there afraid to get a shower tub look like you would fall through. Again it’s a dump

After we checked in we went to the room and found there to be no heat. Opened the curtains to look outside and found 3 unopened cans of beer in the window. Complained to the manager and was offered another room and a space heater as the heat for the whole place was out. We got a refund and left as we were not notified about the heat issue before checking in
