Nanyea Restaurant is incredible! My wife and I decided to stop here as part of our plan to eat food from all over the world, and let me tell you, it was well worth it! I personally had never tried Ethiopian food, and it is now one of my favorites. There was tons of flavor in every dish! I will be returning to try more very soon! Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. The restaurant is very cozy and has cool decorations! The service was outstanding and everyone was working with a smile! I can't wait to return! Nanyea is a must try for anyone wanting to expand their horizons!

A group of us wanted to try African food and found this nice Ethiopian restaurant. For those looking for flavor and heat, I definitely recommend it. It's a nice locally owned restaurant, a little on the small size compared to franchise restaurants. I highly recommend reservations to ensure you get in when you want. The woman taking care of us didn't consider herself a waitress but a runner. I'm not sure if this is a cultural thing, as she does the job of a waitress. She was also the only server, but as I said, it is a small dining room. Truly, the only downside is no ticket at the end of the meal. You go up to pay once you are done. Our bill was on point to our calculations.

I've had Ethiopian before and this restaurant did not disappoint. It was empty at lunch, so the service was quick. We did order a dish that was suppose to not be spicy and it had some heat. I like spicy so that was fine with me, but I could see some people being upset. We will definitely be back for more.

I was blown away at how wonderful the food was. This was my first time trying Ethiopian. I will warm that the food delightfully spiced.

My girlfriend treated me to my it. Our appetizer was injera that was soaked with butter that was infused with berbere- a nice rich spice blend with a heat that builds but is not too overwhelming if taken slowly. It was delicious.

For our main she ordered the Vegan Special (i think). It consisted of a variety of lentils, beats, cabbage, and tofu served separated on a large platter. You use the injera to scoop and eat it!🥰

Finishing off, we had a nice Ethiopian coffee. It had a nice rich flavor. I will admit that I do like a lot of surgar in my coffee.

It was a different kind of dining experience for me. If you are adventurous and wanting to try something different or are a vegetarian and want a place with options to then In recommend this place. I plan on going back again sometime myself.😊

As always this food is delicious. Sometimes a tad on the salty side but always amazing. It is not only healthy, but what an experience to eat with your hands like intended. I can eat until I'm so very full and still feel good at the end because of how healthy it is. I will make sure I eat here again before I leave.

What a wonderful Ethiopian food experience. Our server was delightful and even cooked our food. Today we had the Sambua's and the Nanyea platter. Every food item on the platter was delicious!! Our coffee and tea were excellent as well. Treat yourself and come to Nanyea!

Fully enjoyed our experience..and I stress experiance-it's vibe!!
..and the "cold gold" lager beer with the brown man on the bottle and the glass-top notch beer truly from Ethiopia to you!! We even had a hand feeding from the hostess(a sign of respect) and is an essential part of the culture- we went on a true food journey this evening-thank you!!

The vegetables were really well cooked and had a great flavor. The beets were absolutely delicious, as well as the cabbage. I also enjoyed the lentils. They tasted really nice.
