Absolutely the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. Very hard working and are determined to make this property first class. The room was very comfortable and had everything weary travelers need. It is within walking distance of all the action on Broadway. Restaurants, bars, etc. We enjoyed a very nice evening at one of them. We enjoyed our stay and would stay no where else in Columbus

BEWARE!! Do not waste your money on this Roach Motel. We knew as soon as we pulled onto the property that this place was a complete DUMP and our hearts sank, because we pre-paid and realized we were stuck here for 3 long days. Then, our room was not ready when we arrived and I fully realized the mistake I had made in booking this property. The photos of the rooms were likely taken years ago, because our room - and the entire property - was most certainly NOT as pictured, representing a complete & purposeful subterfuge on the property's part. As an example, one photo shows a nice flat screen TV mounted on the wall, but not in our room; a cheap TV was just placed on the desk, leaving the wall mount and hole for cable management exposed in the wall (I suppose we were not supposed to notice that). Plus, our cable went out twice in 3 days, requiring repairs. The view of the drive-through breezeway for check-in? Non-existent; it is completely (and awkwardly) blocked off. Advertised Wi-Fi? Forget it; the Wi-Fi was unusable and we just had to use our phones, including having to tether and watch TV on a laptop while the cable was out. Housekeeping uses a FAMILY DOLLAR SHOPPING CART (you just cannot make this up). Vending machines? Good luck; they were all out of order. Again, the property photos displayed do not match the rooms nor the property, in a blatant attempt to mislead potential guests. Oh, the A/C worked; I guess that is a plus. The final straw was killing a huge cockroach meandering across the floor on our final night. I decided to address all our concerns to the Property Manager before checking out and they just made excuses for everything, including - incredibly - the roaches, stating that they had pest control, the County Health Department had come out, and that there was nothing they could do about the roach infestation. I might not believe it, had I not lived it. This place is a textbook example of someone purchasing a property, doing nothing to maintain it, allowing it to decay, tricking guests into staying there, and figuring they will just continue taking unwary guests' money until the buildings fall down and then I suppose they just move on to their next property scam. They simply do not care and figure that no one will take the time to fight back after spending their hard earned money. They got the wrong guy here. Please do not waste your money or subject your family to this Roach Motel.

Arrived on a Friday, check-in was smooth and the man at the front counter was wonderful. That was the extent of the good portion of this hotel.

The room we got into was moldy and gross. There was mold growing at the top of the shower (ceiling), looked like water damage from the floor above and smelled like sewage. The bathroom was terribly humid and felt like a swamp. No vent and no fan.

Room had no vent or fan, just a really old a/c that did not meet expectations. We called front office to come take a look and it was "fixed" (it wasn't. Wife ended up getting heat exhaustion in the room).

It was bearable at night after the summer heat died down. However, the neighbors we had were incredibly loud.

Big thing to complain about here is the a/c. It would kick on and off several times but never cooled the room. If that is a main point in what you look for in a hotel, I'd strongly suggest you go somewhere else. We ended up cutting our trip a day early because we didn't want to stay in shrek's swamp.

Breakfast was bland. Pancake maker that made undercooked sticky pancakes, stale cereal, some bread for toast, and a gallon of milk.

Overall, one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Friendly folks, awful building. Next time I'll surely be staying somewhere else.

Great location to downtown, great service team. Only complaint was my AC seemed to be broken, on lowest setting (61F) my room was still warm compared to my friends rooms. It was also putting a lot of water out (outside). However my room seemed to be the only one with that issue so still worth the stay.

The doors had to be pushed hard to open, the tub was filled with water, A/C window unit very noisy and the noise from neighbors continued because of tail gating in parking lot. Continental Breakfast was terrible, cereal, milk and you could make a waffle, but that was it. Apple juice, coffee were the drink choices and taking breakfast to your room not allowed.

Budget hotels can go in so many directions, and we have been burned lately and hesitated to reserve this one, but reviews of higher priced chains in the area weren't great so we decided to trust these reviews and so glad we did! It felt very safe and was six blocks from the river and 3-4 from the main street area. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Decent selection for a small assorted breakfast. FANTASTIC coffee. Great, polite service at desk and from the maid service. All weekend for less than one night at most the other places we looked at! Whenever we return to visit our daughter at CSU, we will definitely be staying here again!

The staff were all very attentive and helpful. The location was 0.5mi from the convention center so the walk-ability was perfect. For the affordable price, the room was pretty comfortable and clean except for a few stray hairs in the tub, sink, and countertops. There was also a small clear hair tie on the floor.

Overall, I had a good experience. I just wish there was a little more attention given to cleanliness.

Plenty of parking, no elevator for second floor. The frig worked. AC worked with no weird noises. No bugs. Outdoor Ice machine didn’t work. Breakfast limited. No tea, only coffee. Pancake machine, cereal, yoghurt. Bathroom in poor condition with tub having no drain plug, loose tiles, damaged drywall. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke. Staff was pleasant enough. The room and bathroom doors overdue for replacement. Walking distance to downtown and river walk.
