The cottage was quaint and welcoming. The lights were on for us. Decorated really cute for the holidays. Has a stove, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Very clean and well kept. Bathroom was nice and clean. Very large shower. Washer and dryer available. Perfect couples getaway. Delicious cinnamon rolls and bread left for us. Easy to find. Heater was noisy but kept the whole place cozy.

Such a great place to stay!! If you are looking for a quiet getaway I definitely recommend Red Cottage Hideaway Skyview Cottage. Everything was so clean, refreshing, wonderfully decorated, and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay! The homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh homemade bread, and beverages were awesome. They even made an anniversary cake for us which was so sweet and thoughtful!! I honestly can’t say enough about this place. It is tucked away in the country but close enough (15 min) to different towns around the area. The hot tub was clean and well maintained for some evening star gazing, as well as the fireplace being a nice added touch for a cozy atmosphere inside the cottage. Needless to say, we can’t wait to go back and plan our next trip!!

Very nicely decorated. Peaceful and pretty quiet and "almost secluded". A few more selectively placed trees in and the host could boast total privacy. There is not a lot of traffic but enough to be pretty frequent. Hot tub was nice but needs a skimmer handy. The shower was a little slippery. Would be nice to have a handbar or something for mature guests. Tub was slow to drain. I imagine due to well. The towels were not the best and small, but decent. The sheets were luscious and soft. The bed was comfortable. A cutting board would be great in kitchen. The treats in the fridge were thoughtful and yummy. The coffee beans/grinder and creamers were appreciated and tasty. It would be nice to have some fire kindling. We didn't know we needed or I missed it. Otherwise the fire pit was great. We need to get some of those comfy chairs for home. The outdoor lights are nice but would prefer manual shut off to stargaze. The "reading nook" is awesome but I would have preferred a reclinder. Such a wonderful view from the windows, but chair not great. The porch swing was another favorite spot. There is a dog kennel and a breeder nearby. I didnt catch that but it explains a lot. Lol|The cottage was very beautiful but we wished it was just a smidge more private. Very nice getaway. Super relaxing. Thank you to the host!!!

We have stayed at these cottages many times over the last several years. We only live 25min away, but the cabins provide us the rest and relaxation we need and chance to reconnect and step away from our busy lives. The location is perfect! It's quiet, but just a few minutes from your main Amish country attractions and restaurants. We especially love the Woodland Cottage as it's just so far back off the road and gives you the upmost privacy. We cannot wait to try the new hot tubs they have now added to the Woodland and Skyview Cottages. The price in my opinion is a bit high, but also good price for what you are getting here. Always clean and the owners will respond to any questions or need you may have during your stay, though you shouldn't need them as everything has always been perfect for us. You won't go wrong to pick this place as your next place to stay.

My family and I stayed at the pear tree & sky view. Pear tree is adorable with the best front and back views however neighbors & the road is very close. The back deck & hot tub needs some tlc. We were left with no paper products but Marilyn was very sweet and responsive, I do think they should provide just a few complimentary laundry pods since there is a laundry room. Sky view is more private, the hot tub & deck are updated and newer compared to pear tree. Rebecca’s bistro is a MUST

This was the 3rd time we have stayed with them. The cottages are very clean, response time is great, and extras or special things you would need, they do their best to accommodate. The last visit my wife and I got a massage right in the cottage, they were professional and good. There is a fire pit, grill, and comfortable patio furniture to sit and enjoy the view from the patio or deck. The jacuzzi tubs are right off the beds and both will accommodate 2 full adults. An all around absolutely relaxing time to escape life and kids for a couple of days. Do recommend 2 days to enjoy the experience completely. The pictures below show the woodland and sky view, they have a 3rd one, pear tree, they just opened up late last year and can’t wait to try it out.

Absolutely beautiful, charming, relaxing, gorgeous views. Attention given to the smallest details To make our stay truly a wonderful blessing! I doubt you’ll find a nicer place to stay in the area. We stayed in the new Pear Tree Cottage and it has a beautiful back deck with a gorgeous view, gas grill and hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This is THE BEST place to stay!! We have stayed at the Skyview and the Woodland cottages multiples times. Everything is perfect! Both are such cute and relaxing places. Marilyn is wonderful to work with and we love all of the goodies she leaves! This is the perfect getaway and would recommend it to anyone!! We can’t wait to try the new cottage!
