It was Black Friday, and they were very busy & understaffed, but the 2 waitresses were on top of it. My wife and I were there for a late breakfast. Prices were a little high, but portions were more than ample. Food quality was excellent, and the thin eggs were no different than what you get at Bob Evans. The atmosphere was typical of a busy restaurant. It is wide open with a nostalgic decor. It was a very nice meal with friendly, energetic service.

The Monster fish sandwich was huge. Onion rings were cooked perfectly and side of Cole slaw. Good place to stop for a quick sit down lunch.

Ultimate French toast is now my favorite breakfast there. You could get home fries but I chose fried apples. The service is always superior there. Plus I've NEVER had a bad meal there and a breakfast for 2 is always under $30.00 including drinks.

Have to say I was very disappointed with the food from my last visit. Took the rest of our coleslaw home and when I was eating it I pulled a long brown hair out of my mouth, not mine...me and my husband both have shaved heads. I would recommend hair nets while preparing and serving food.

Our waitress was awesome. The two waitresses that were there was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Lol. They both were working very hard to make sure all the customers were satisfied.

First thing, yes, the decor may look like it's from 1997, but don't let that fool you. J-boys is the classic definition of Hometown Hole-in-the-wall, a place you might miss unless you were looking for it, when passing through. The waitresses are such lovely ladies, the nicest gals you'll meet, with absolutely wonderful attitudes and always smiles on faces. The food, simple, yes, but very good. I love the BLT with fries, Cole slaw, or a hot ham and cheese, with chili. If I'm not making it at home, I'm getting my chili from here, and only here. Cole slaw is a bit bitter for my blood, but it's still good if you like it like that. No matter what you choose, you'll have a great meal, I know I have.

Authentic and Delicious Philly Melt and Country Fried Steak. The green beans are delicious with a hint of clove. Creamy Mashed potatoes with lots of gravy. BETTER than a fast food place & just as quick! Worth a visit! Great Service too!
