I enjoyed a two night stay at the Brickhouse. The house and grounds are beautiful- 100’s of daffodils were blooming in March. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast’s were delicious & perfectly presented. The guest rooms are large, bed extremely comfortable with crisp white sheets & down pillows. But my favorite was the view from the huge bay windows. Thank you Cathy & Jim for everything. I hope to have a reason to stay at your Brickhouse in the future. Sincerely, Judy

Brick House on Main is truly fabulous! Cathy and Jim are incredibly kind,friendly and hospitable hosts. They have done an amazing job restoring this beautiful property and maintaining its historic character. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room lovely. Every detail has been covered—extra beverages in the dining room, toiletries of every kind and fluffy towels in the bathroom, a library of reading material, a great porch swing and also delightful company. Cathy’s breakfasts were over the top! She even made delicious homemade gluten-free pancakes one morning and gluten-free muffins the next day. She was kind enough to give us not only the recipe but a box of leftover muffins—which I enjoyed on the rest of our trip! We enjoyed the Gnadenhutten museum, Historic Schoenbrunn and the performance of Trumpet in the Land while there. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful B&B! The owners, Cathy & Jim went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met & to make us as comfortable as possible. Cathy even let me use one of her blankets to keep me warm when we went to see the play, Trumpet in the Land. It was a chilly evening. Cathy’s breakfasts were outstanding! She catered to what we liked & any dietary concerns we had. Our bedroom & bathroom were very clean & stocked with daily necessities. It’s one of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed at, & we’ve stayed at quite a few!

This is our second time visiting Cathy & Jim, as it was a requirement from our 9 yr old daughter as we were in the area visiting family. They have top notch hospitality and the breakfast every morning was yummy and amazing and all while Cathy had a broken arm. It didn't stop her from an extremely clean home, beds and bathroom all with a smile on her face. Just a great home away from home and our daughter is hard to please, but loves sweet Cathy. She and her husband made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B. My husband and I have done many of B&B's and they are our favorite!

A true home away from home! Cathy and Jim welcomed us into their lovely Bed and Breakfast, we couldn't have asked for more. They have set the standard high for future bed and breakfasts for us. The breakfasts were a great way to start the day and always tailored to our requests, and it was so nice being able to decide what time we wanted to eat in the morning. We also appreciated the recommendations for restaurants and museums nearby.The room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and the bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh made breakfast each morning and relaxing on the front porch swing and in their back patio. If you are looking for a great place to unwind and escape the chaos of daily life, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We will definitely come back and stay with these wonderful hosts again in the future.

The strawberry bars are amazing! Highly recommend asking for those as well. Plus any other wonderful treat Cathy makes for her guests. Always something new and delicious!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This place sets the bar high for all other B&B’s. Cathy is extremely attentive, has a great eye for detail and makes everything perfect for your stay. The breakfast was 5 Star and beyond. The Christmas light show was fantastic. Cathy is a famous choreographer of Christmas light music and displays. Their display is absolutely amazing. I forgot a dress shirt that I needed for a work Christmas party. I asked Cathy and she had two available for me that were even pressed and ready to wear. She is friendly and a great host. The accommodations are delightful, meticulously clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. It was as if my wife and I rented a house with a chef. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the room towards the back of the house across from the bathroom; it was slightly larger and had a cafe table in it, which was convenient for some work I had to do. There was plenty of space, a comfy bed and a fully appointed bathroom with clawfoot tub. Note that the bathroom is across the hall (or down the hall for the other room) from the bedrooms. The owners have really looked after this period property and yet made it fully functional for contemporary travelers who need to plug in phones by the bed, etc. The house is beautifully cared for and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We also found the breakfasts delicious and lovely in their presentation. The French toast was especially amazing! Loved the coffee, too, and (unasked) Cathy made a delicous iced mocha for my partner, having heard that that was his preference over coffee. Cathy and Jim couldn't be warmer and are also very interesting people. They were very helpful in providing local knowledge and ideas for places to visit. There is a lot of Ohio history in the vicinity, as well as gorgeous rural drives and walks. We'd certainly return to the area and highly recommend this accommodation.

My husband and I stayed there for a weekend while we were in town for a wedding. The hosts, Cathy and Jim, went above and beyond to be accommodating; from letting us choose what room we wanted to stay in to serving us a delicious breakfast when we decided to roll out of bed. The house is beautiful and is well maintained and we felt right at home during our stay. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that comes with great food and good conversation then I HIGHLY recommend staying here.
