Inn at Honey Run is a special place. We had a large room with a fireplace, which allowed time and space for relaxation and reflection. With hiking shoes we walked all the paths and enjoyed the outdoor art museum. The sheep across from our room were friendly as was Oscar, the local cat. The chef is definitely five star. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Chicken dinner was the best ever. We will definitely return to the Inn at Honey Run.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. It was the weekend retreat my husband and I were looking for: quiet time, walks on the trails, no schedules, and inspired by the surrounding nature. Food at Tarragon was excellent too! We will be back

My husband and I stayed in late Fall and were truly inspired by the attention to detail and architecture. If you love mid-century architecture, stay in the Honeycomb suites! The rooms were spacious and cozy. We loved having the fireplace on every night and sitting out on our private balcony to star gaze. The food and drink at the Tarragon Room was equally exceptional.

Beautiful area. A restful, serene place. Friendly and professional staff. The Tarragon is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and staff. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. A great place for a retreat. We enjoyed visiting the sheep.

We hosted our wedding here and had an amazing experience. The food was amazing. The service was awesome. Gary & Jason were great through the entire planning process. All of our guests also had a great time!

Everything about this place is calm. The open air art gallery is a nice walk in the woods, the room was great, and we had the in-room "Fresh From The Hive" honey and mead. Very tasty. It was so great we are going back in a few months with 3 other couples!

The Inn at Honey Run continues in the best tradition of Marge Stock. Of course, there are always issues.We stayed in the Trillium Cottage.||* I fell twice when missing the step from the black kitchen tile to the black carpet. I didn’t break anything, but yes, it did hurt and I didn’t feel comfortable going on the artwork hike—which is a wonderful idea and I do hope to see it in the future.||* a very polite and prompt attendant came to the cottage when we called him in the evening. He adjusted the heat, which we couldn’t get above 64°. He also worked diligently to close the two bedroom windows which were letting in cold air, and he turned off the very, very loud ice maker that evidently didn’t know when it was full and could stop making ice.||Mechanical things can be fixed (put a white line on the top of the kitchen step) with prompt, polite, friendly and effective people, which Honey Run has in abundance. We love Honey Run and will come back.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Inn at Honey Run for a romantic weekend getaway. I must say we were blown away by the entire property. The Inn really stands out from any other place we have stayed. Every space features thoughtful and beautiful details, right down to the bird guide books in your room to the real flame lanterns that light the entrance area. Honestly if I talk about it too much I will sound like a ridiculous advertisement, so I will cut this short! This Inn was a little more than we had planned to spend for our Valentine's weekend, but now we can't wait to go back. The property really helped us slow down and enjoy peace for a while, but shopping and experiences are just around the corner if that is what you want! Every single staff person we met clearly loved the property and were warm and welcoming. Don't overlook this gem, the memories you make here will be worth it!!
