Delightful! We were in the Abby room, spacious, clean, cute. The whole place is so cute. The host was very sweet, breakfast was good. Excellent location to get to both Springfield and Yellow Springs.

We made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime while we were here. Ron, the owner, is an absolute delight, a wonderful person. The house is beyond what you expect for a beautiful, cozy B&B. There are pieces of history everywhere. The Sydney suite felt so glamorous. Fluffy pillows, all the blankets to choose from, comfy beds, the smaller bedroom is perfect for a midday nap. Ron set up the fireplace for us and I was able to enjoy my first ever fire right in our room. He has everything you need and all of the unique stories to share. (We even went out for brunch to hear more). Plus an adorable labradoodle named Zeke to love on. If you're not a dog person, no worries, he can't get to you on the porch or go in the house.
It's close to the caverns, the Hartman rock garden is a must see, the castles nearby, antique malls and beautiful parks for hiking and exploring. A movie theater close by too.
Highly recommend 10/10 will be back!

We had a wonderful time in this historic home. Breakfast was always good and great conversations. Rooms were clean, peaceful & comfortable. Ron was very pleasant and truly cared. My husband got to play fetch with Zeke the Labradoodle. Would recommend 10 out of 10. Only a mile from Heart of Ohio antiques.

Highly recommend! I rented the Sydney suite the weekend of my wedding for myself and the bridesmaids to get ready. Ron was very sweet and accommodating to us as we spent hours doing hair and makeup. Anytime we left the room he was available if we were to need anything. The groom and I spent the wedding night in the Sydney suite. The beds were comfortable and we had our very own thermostat. My photographer was able to get some beautiful pictures that I am happy to share once I get them back in a few weeks. ❤️

This is a super cool B&B. It's in a 200-year old house. The house is decorated with antiques but it has modern conveniences like a microwave in the room and a new private bathroom in every room. When we stayed, we were the only ones there, so it may possibly be a bit more noisy or crowded if all the rooms are occupied but we loved the place. It's exactly what you think of when you think of a B&B. I'm not sure Springfield OH is a major tourist destination but there are two massive antique malls super close to the B&B.

Enroute from Chicago to West Virginia, we wanted to stop and see a niece who lives in the area and we were delighted to find this B&B in which to stay. The B&B is located just a short distance from I-70 but you are out in the country. The Inn is in a historic home built in the 1830s and is filled with lovely antigues as the prior owner was an anitigue dealer who included all the antigue furnishings with the sale of the house. We stayed in the Sydney Suite on the main floor, but since we were there mid-week we had the entire house to ourselves. Ron is a most gracious host and it was lovely to see him each morning ready to make our delicious breakfasts and engage in interesting conversation. As other reviewers have noted, the grounds are lovely and while the B&B is filled with antigues it is lovely to have a mini-fridge in your room. We were there two nights and went into Springfield both nights for dinner. We ate at the Hickory Inn and Cecil and Life Cafe and highly recommend both. The day we left, we stopped just down the road at the Heart of Ohio Antigue Center, which is huge. In the two hours we were there, we only saw about half, so guess we'll just have to come back and stay at Emma's again. Thanks Ron for a wonderful time and your gracious hospitality.

Great location close to I70 yet the room was quiet and very comfortable. Nice spacious bathroom. Nice décor of the period of the home. The atmosphere is very relaxing home. Good conversations with host as he fixed our delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

This is our 4th stay at Emma's Bed and Breakfast. We have always enjoyed it, but most importantly, being hosted by Ron has always been the most special part. He has always been a great conversationalist, a caring host and always goes above and beyond to make your stay great. I think someone who engages with guests on level Ron does, should always get a good review, and recommended. Blessings to the Emma's Bed and Breakfast.
