We wanted to get away from the city with friends overnight and hike too and when looking at places to stay, the response from Lynn the owner was so generous, gracious and friendly we decided this was the place. Her email was just the beginning of her graciousness. We LOVED staying at the B&B (had the whole place and the Montana and Philadelphia Rooms) and found it be the best nights sleep in ages. Quiet, perfect temperature and great beds. The breakfast (more like brunch) in the morning was delicious, healthy and a lovely presentation. We have already decided to go back as often as possible as it's close to McConnells Mill and Moraine and Lynn is like an old friend now. HIGHLY recommend and we know our B&Bs!!

We LOVED our one night stay for our anniversary. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. Lynn, the owner, was very accommodating and communicated with us as our stay got closer. She recommended a local restaurant for our dinner and we loved it. The entire home is comfortable, especially the bed. It was our best sleep during our travels in PA. Our morning was special with Jennifer cooking us a fabulous breakfast, using her produce and local meats. She was very pleasant and we enjoyed our conversation with her. We walked the trail and it was very peaceful. We wish we were local to utilize the "tap room" for a group function. It is rustic with a touch of class and would be a great place to have an event. Thank you to Lynn and Jennifer for making our stay so WONDERFUL.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I was there in April of 2017, staying two nights for an extensive job interview. Jennifer was the hostess the first night and Lynn the second. I don't appreciate decor the way many people do, but it was even hard for me not to notice the attention to detail that went into the decorating. I stayed in the Montana room, decorations down to the books about grizzly bears followed the theme. I remember I kept thinking that my wife would be really impressed with the whole place. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and the food was incredible. However, I was most impressed with how friendly and talkative both Jennifer and Lynn were. I wanted to talk, and I learned a lot about the area. They also, perhaps unknowingly, gave me confidence for my interview. They were not pushy. I got the feeling that if I didn't want to talk, they would have left me alone. Lynn told me she was sure that I was going to get the job. She was right, but I decided to accept an offer in another state. But I will still try to come back and stay at the Cedar Farm Inn. Thank you so much!

Where should I begin? This farmhouse is New Wilmington's best kept secret. It is secluded, quiet, and very, very clean. The rooms all have a character of their own and it was like staying at a 5 star hotel out in the country. If you wish to get away for just a night or a few nights; this is the place to go. We left our cares behind and just enjoyed being away from it all. Yes, it has internet and TV in the common room but we never even turned it on. Our goal was to escape and that we did. Refreshed to continue on with the stresses of life. Jennifer was an amazing chef. Very personable and clearly enjoys her work. Lynn, the owner was very accommodating with our special requests. Lynn treats us more lke family than customers. My husband and myself plus two adult children and spouse stayed a weekend.
The Inn is beautifully, yet comfortably, decorated. Bedrooms are spacious as are adjoining baths.
Lynn made a scrumptious apple blueberry crisp for us in addition to the healthy and yummy breakfast.
We celebrated a friend's 50th birthday in the event venue on site. It was adorable and cozy
We all love the Inn and strongly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here one night in May 2015. We loved the country setting an the house, room, and breakfast were awesome! We would definitely stay there again. It is in the middle of Amish country and the owner was very nice and had great suggestions of places to eat and sites to see! It's easy to find.

As a graduate of Westminster College, I love returning to this little burg. A friend and I stayed overnight at the Cedar Farm Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our retreat. The house is in a pastoral setting, surrounded by farmland. It has been completely renovated and updated. Our spacious bedroom (the Pennsylvania room) included an alcove with a sitting area. There were no other guests while we were there, so we had the run of the house. The delicious breakfast featured locally sourced food. Highly recommended!
