Solo travelers don't let the pictures of couples discourage you from staying here, I've stayed here twice. I only live 15 minutes away but like to pamper myself occasionally and once again I was not disappointed. For my 65th birthday I treated myself to a spa day and overnight stay at Buhl Mansion Guesthouse & Spa. I had my spa treatments first then spent the night in the Artists Loft, I had previously I stayed in the Steel Magnate room. Both rooms are gorgeously appointed and the jacuzzi tubs are amazing and since I was there in March, I was able to enjoy the fireplace. There is a welcome tray in your room with champagne, fruits, cheese/crackers and Daffin's chocolates, make sure you visit Daffin's Candies across the street. The breakfast I had the next morning was also good. The grounds have beautiful blooms in the spring and summer and a greenhouse. Whie the mansion does not have its own restaurant there are plenty of places to eat in the area. I've already got my next spa day planned and trying to decide when I want to stay overnight again, think I might stay in the Julia F. Buhl's room next.

The Buhl Mansion is a wonderful getaway!! I surprised my husband by booking this place for Valentine’s Day and it was over and beyond our expectations. The place is beautiful, the room was so romantic and breakfast was superb!! Very friendly staff took great care of us. I would highly recommend this place for not only a place to stay but for all the services they offer. We look forward to going back again!

What a treat! We enjoyed this past weekend at the mansion. The fireplace in our room was cozy, the towels were extra soft, the bed was comfy, the tea time was delightful, the inn keepers were pleasant, and the breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This quiet and quaint bed and breakfast is perfect for a weekend getaway. We will be back for sure.

Our second two night stay, celebrating our wedding Anniversary. The property and staff are as wonderful as they were on our last trip two years ago! The breakfast was even better than on our first trip which is saying something! We both visited the Spa for an excellent massage and is an experience that all need to have as well. We will return I'm sure!

I got married here 2 years ago and everything was perfect. This past weekend my husband and I came again for a over night visit and spa day for a late wedding anniversary celebration for us both.
