My husband and I were driving back from Disney and needed a place to rest for the night. The room we got was not worth the $90 I was charged. We had to park on the front side of the building and walk around through a lingering cloud of smoke from weed. As soon as we got into the room we were shocked to see that everything that was metal was covered in rust. The room was also connect to the room next door. The gap in the doorway was so large that we could hear and smell everything coming from the next room. The gap in the exterior door was also pretty large and I was woken up around 2 am from the overwhelming smell of weed. It was coming in from both doors. By the time we left the room at 7 am everything we had with us smelled like weed. The shower also had nothing separating the tile in the shower from the tile in the rest of the bathroom. My husband had to put down a towel to keep water from going everywhere. I also made him put a towel down in the shower so his bare feet wouldn’t touch the soap scum all over the shower. The photo of the bathroom door posted was also so hard to open and close. We will never trust a Quality Inn again. I understand that the people next door were not the responsibility of the motel, but the condition of the room is absolutely the responsibility of the motel.

This is a good budget minded hotel. Very nice greeters at the desk. It is an older hotel but the rooms were nice and clean. It is located right of the highway for convenience so there is some highway traffic noise heard from the rooms. There are plenty of restaurant choices close by and a 10% coupon given to one of the local Italian restaurants. Our room had a TV, microwave and a mini fridge

Came in around 1:30 am, and Lisa, the front desk lady who was amazing, helped get me settled in a room with everything we needed. Very basic breakfasts included muffins, coffee and waffles. Extra star since dog friendly !

Stay away! It was the only room we could find after we lost power in Helene, 10 minutes from our house. We were there all of two hours, then we saw two little bugs in the bed. We left immediately. We'd rather go home to a hot house with no power than sleep with bed bugs. The place is filthy.

UPDATE: I have reached out directly, both to the hotel and its parent company, Choice Hotels after I was told by the front desk that I would receive a refund. No response. So enough platitudes already. I'm sure when we left after two hours that room was rented.

Place is totally out dated. It is truly a drug hotel and spot.Room doors don't open or shut all the way. Front desk person wasn't the friendly at all

1/4" open crack under door that would allow good sized bugs / roaches to crawl right in. Room smells of cigarette smoke. There was a small flying bug Mosquito in the sink. All lights are very dim. I've stayed at much less expensive motels that were very clean. No frig in room
