We stopped in Kingsland just for the night at the nearby RV Self-Park, coming from NY. We wanted to find something more local than the chains and fast-food on the highway, so we drove a bit and found Stefan’s and I’m so glad we did.

The regional cuisine is served with the famed Southern hospitality, everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. They source much of the menu locally, so the food is fresh and is prepared daily in their kitchen. The prices are very fair and reasonable.

Pictured are gator bites (sourced locally) that we were excited to try, and my meal which was only $9.50 with the option to add more pork chops and was served with 2 biscuits (that were excellent!).

A very fun, local spot. Would certainly stop again to try more of their menu.

Looking for small town cozy!! This is the place to go. Breakfast all day, great quality food and a ton if dessert choices. This trip i had the chicken philly. Did not disappoint full and taking half home!!

Steffens restaurant is like stepping into the past with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and fresh, locally-sourced food. The chicken and waffles was the best my husband has ever had and my biscuits and gravy with breakfast potatoes were also amazing. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially with the portion you receive. Looking forward to returning for lunch and trying their liver and onions dish as well as some pie they keep in the display case near the front door.

If you are in the area Steffens Restaurant is a great place to eat fresh southern food. You can order breakfast all day or southern food. We tried the gator bites for the first time and they are great. The service was awesome as well.

Shelby was phenomenal. The food was over the top. Fast! Delicious! Hot! We were passing thru the area found Stefan’s on Google. I highly recommend you go there. Could not have possibly had a better experience. They were so busy! But we were treaties like we were the only people in the restaurant. Make sure to try the dried green tomatoes!

Great local place, in business here since 1948. Kind of crowded - popular with locals my omelette was huge and really good, wife had eggs which were cooked just right. Toast was pumpernickel and Rye which I like a lot! Grits were tasty and plentiful, but a bit lumpy. Biscuits looked and tasted great! If you take the time to hop off of I95 this is well worth a visit!

I live in Jacksonville and go there for breakfast around 11:30 a.m. on weekends. The service, the quality of the food, the generous portions, the reasonable prices, everything is top-notch. I can tell the kitchen is clean by the presentation of the dishes; everything is neatly arranged and free of spills. Congratulations. YBG
