Go to the Rutledge inn. It’s about the same price and you get free breakfast there. I’ve stayed at the st Charles motel and had a friend come by and within a few minutes I got a call on the phone in the room from the people at the front desk asking me was that person staying. I don’t see where it was any of their business if I had company if I paid for a room. This place just needs to go out of business it’s severely awful.

I've stayed here once before during my travels to Florida. It's old but was clean. I was still charged $65 for 2 people, even though the sign says $39. This last time, I was way over charged for just 2 people, $75! Plus the room I was in #18 was very musky with sticky carpets. They had a plug in trying to mask it. I had to open the door & air it out. Woke up with a terrible headache. I usually like giving my money to small businesses and just need a bed & shower. But when your masking the problem, knowing it's moldy. Not cool! Next time I'll stop in Montgomery!

Nice people who work there. The staff are accommodating. Rooms are pretty basic with fridge and microwave. Clean comfortable beds. Needs some basic updates. If your traveling and need a nights rest this place isn't fancy but it's cheap.

The couple that run St. Charles Motel were very good to me. They put me close to Office which I appreciate. The room was very clean and it was very clean outside as well. It's a very old place but I'm really glad that I stayed there. It was peaceful which made it perfect.

We were very pleased with staying here while in it way too Florida . It was an older motel but very clean and the owners were absolutely amazing! We will definitely start here again!!

I stay here often when I am working in the area. Older motel but always clean and very reasonable. Very nice owners who always go out of their way to make sure I have a good stay.

This is an older (not updated) no thrills motel on the main drag in Luverne. After driving all day we were looking for any place to stop for the night. The clerk was friendly and helpful and offered a military discount. You can hear the road noise. The parking lot was well lit and parking was right by our room. The sheets were clean and the water was hot. The TV worked and there was free WIFI. What else do you need?

The place was horrible very nasty. Not worth 60 a night. Didnt want sleep in bed. Ill sleep in tent before I stay there again
