Stayed at the Residence Inn Anderson Clemson for an event at AnMed Medical Centet which is minutes down the road from the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The beds were great. I had a suite on the 3rd floor closest to the stairs which was perfect so I could easily leave to get to my car which I parked near where the stairs let out. They had a wonderful breakfast with these amazing jalapeño bread breakfast that would be heated up in the warmer in the mornings. I honestly don't have one complaint for the facility. The gym was nice and clean. Had a good bit of equipment when compared to other gyms I have experienced in hotels.

Mostly everything they do is good. I have a big problem with never having any potatoes for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy only on the weekends. I wish they had potatoes and biscuits and gravy at least on the weekends and would probably be OK with me realistically the potatoes kill it for me.

We’re moving from this hotel to another. They called this morning talking about they got a sound complaint at 4am and had to move one of our rooms to the first floor.

1) We all went to bed at 9pm, asleep no later than 11 so we know it wasn’t us.

2) we can’t be split up because the we have to split the boys up between mama and our room when me or Dee work.

So then they said if we didn’t we had to leave. Our housing company through insurance paid for us a new reservation at another hotel in Anderson to move. They said the GM called them too to say we wanted to move and gave the complaints but they don’t buy it because our company had asked them to work with them on the rate this weekend being they have been paying for our housing over 2 months and they were charging $400/night for the Clemson-Carolina game. (We had been temporarily housed here by our insurance while our home is being repaired.) Ever since our company had this conversation with the GM here, we have been “getting noise complaints”. Even her staff have come up here to let us know and found us all sleeping or quiet. One even said he did not know why people were complaining because he knows our kids are well behaved.

Prior to this incident, we had issues with the staff not refreshing nor fully cleaning our rooms. Staff members were signing off that we had the DND signs on the doors when we never did. The manager of house cleaning spoke with us about it and cleaned personally a couple of times; she was sweet. However, the lack of cleanliness continued afterwards, so we took it upon ourselves to clean our rooms, buying our own broom, dust pan, and supplies to clean because nothing was getting done.

Breakfast is OK, but variety is limited.

Bottom line: RECONSIDER BEFORE STAYING AT THE RESIDENCE INN - ANDERSON.

This is a fantastic hotel! Super clean., staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable ! The breakfast was stocked and had variety . We stay in a lot of Marriott properties and this Residence Inn is at the the top !|Highly recommend this hotel |

Man, what a hotel. Incredibly clean. Friendly staff. Rooms are better stocked than any place I’ve stayed in before. Even has mini salt and pepper shakers. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was good. Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely stay here over and over.

Desk staff was unprepared and not clear on my check in procedures. Having only been there three months before being left on her own was not her fault but rather that of management to properly train employees.

The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was completely sub par for a hotel that cost $250/night. Eggs were overcooked, dry, and tasteless.
