Stayed here for two nights in a top floor corner jr suite and overall had a good experience. The location is decent, with a Cracker Barrel next door, but not a ton of restaurant options nearby, but still in close proximity to downtown and ATL airport. The suite was fresh and clean, though the layout deviated somewhat from the typical Hampton Inn. Staff was friendly, and the pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was very tasty, but the water pressure in the shower was disappointing. Also, late checkout was only extended to 12:30, which felt a bit stingy (for Gold/Diamond). All in all a solid stay, but some small improvements would make it even better.

We stayed at this hotel from December 24-27 while visiting our son for Christmas. We booked because we'd stayed here before. The first night (Christmas eve) I felt something crawling on me and I just dismissed it (what I didn't know the first night was that my wife had found a roach in the bathroom too). The second night (Christmas night), again I felt something crawling on me and turned on the light and it was a roach. I immediately went into the bathroom and turned on the light and there were several roaches in the shower. And these were nasty German cockroaches that usually implies an infestation. We didn't have time to report this to the front desk the next morning as we were rushing out to see our son before he went to work (26th). When we returned I explained the situation and was told to talk to the front desk manager the next morning. The next morning I discussed our disapproval and was offered a $60 discount and given a change of rooms. We explained that we should not be charged for a room that is infested with roaches and that this was certainly not up to Hilton's standards. The front end manager gave us the card for the general manager and we left a message after checking out, but a call was never returned. We received and email from corporate about our complaint and was offered another $60 discount (which incidentally we have not received). In my 50+ years of life I have never been in a hotel room that had an infestation of roaches and had them crawling on me in the middle of the night TWICE! Had this been handled to our satisfaction there'd be no problem, but we feel that the Hilton Company and more specific this hotel dropped the ball on this one.

Best sleep I've had in ages! I highly recommend this conveniently located and safe hotel. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean, and the hotel itself is very well-appointed. The complimentary breakfast and coffee bar are both excellent. The friendly and helpful staff further enhanced my experience. Do not hesitate or delay booking, you will be happy you chose this hotel!

Ac was in need of service and didn't work. The air filter looked like it wasn't cleaned for several years. Ended up moving to a different room at midnight. Didn't get much sleep.

I am absolutely appalled. We are from Florida and drove 7 hours to the hotel since we were taking my daughter to Six Flags for her birthday. In the room the bottom of a beam was missing exposing the wall, the bathtub had a running rust stain and the ceiling had gross brown spots all over it. We opened the cabinet under the sink by the door to find A BAG OF POOP. Front desk was apologetic and changed our room immediately, but since we didn't think to open that cupboard until the next morning, we slept in a room that contained fecal matter. I will never use Hampton Inn again, what an unsanitary, stressful and disappointing stay.

Edit - The response from this report was prompt, same day, and they refunded me for the 1 night we stayed in that room. Thank you to the staff and manager.

Dirty Room and quality of room was less than desirable. Missing trim and trim just laying loose in the closet of the hotel room. toilet barely flushed, scuffs on the walls and sink handle was barely hanging on (super loose). Ended up cutting trip a day short due to the hurricane so just dealt with the less than mediocre space. If you are staying in this area longer than a day, I would recommend staying somewhere else. Great location, but wow this place needs an upgrade.

My favorite place to stay i have stayed at some very fancy and high end places but this is my favorite the staff are so respectful helpful all the time house keeping are as well breakfast always Good love it here

Rooms needed to be updated. Location is excellent! My issue is I had a necklace stolen from my room and reported it to the front desk. Young lady took my information for the manager to contact me it's been a month not a phone call or text. I've called times still haven't spoken with hotel manager. I'm contacting corporate next!
