We only stayed a single night in our travel trailer while passing through Savannah, but we will definitely come back again and stay longer. We loved how many swan, geese, alligators, etc we saw. We hung out at the pool mostly but we could still see everything in their lake. I had no idea they had cabins for rent until we started to walk around the KOA to look at what other animals we could find. We made sure to keep our distance from the wildlife, even though they did not seem to be afraid of us. The cabins looked really nice, clean, and well maintained. Some of the trailer spots were a little close but if you're just passing through it shouldn't be a problem. We reserved a premium spot that gave us more room and a nice level area to park on. This KOA appears to be small from the front but it goes really far back. If you have kids, there is a playground in the very front by the pool.

This is a wonderful park with great staff. They go out of their way to assist you and make you feel welcome.
We were in our travel trailer for this trip and did not use any cabin or rooms.
The park is clean and the store well stocked.

Very well kept KOA. Friendly helpful hosts. Good sized sites that are very level. Convenient to local attractions- downtown Savannah 30 minutes away. All the bird photos were taken at the campgrounds. Forsyth Park is partbof downtown Savannah and a must visit. Lots of local artists are in the park - a beautiful fountain, a cafe for lunch - wide open lawn for picnic or kite flying.

This is a nicer destination close to the Savannah area. It’s the closest KOA to Savannah. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and kind, and loved the valley trash pick up KOA offers. The restrooms and laundry rooms were clean and well maintained.

Some tips to go from good to great: The camp sites need gravel replaced, most are washed away under the dirt. No one wants to RV in muddy dirt.

I suspect most people use your location to visit Savannah? A 20 minute drive. Oddly, your laundry facilities are limited hours 8-8. That means your customers have to cut their vacation plans short to make sure we are back on the property by 6 or we cannot leave until 10 am if we need to take care of last
Minute laundry. For those 1-2 day short trip families that may be fine. But for those of us staying 4,5,6,7 days and those of us with
Pets or children, that was inconveniencing and limiting that you liking the laundry hours. We encourage you to rethink your strategy there as it’s not a good one.

We had a great stay. Loved the escort to our camp site. The very friendly. The general store had everything you need for your camper and food items you may have left home. The collection of southern syrup, seasonings , wine was a great added bonus. Oh yeah they have ice cream. We walked around the area and it was very clean. Even the areas of those he lived there was clean and clutter free. We stayed on lot 35. Very quite. The swans and ducks was beautiful. Overall we would definitely return.

Good location, however, if you have a big rig it is very tight. Site wasn’t big enough for motorhome and tow vehicle. Kind neighbor had to move his truck for us to be able to get out in the morning. Gravel needs updating and repair. We weren’t impressed at all.

We had a great stay here for four nights. Campground is comfortable and quiet. Many campers came and went after one night, but our four nights were great. Right off the interstate so great for passerbys. Staff was friendly and attentive. Facilities clean.

Wonderful Campground. Beautiful site on lake with swans and ducks. Incredibly clean bathhouse and showers. Easy access to I-95 . We travel with a small camper van but place has cabins, tent sites, and lots of room for large RV’s We plan to stay there again and highly recommend this place to others.
