To start with, Groucho’s deli is on the corner of 18th and broad. With red doors you could not miss.

When you walk inside, you first see seats around the boundaries of the room, and a bar in the middle.

It’s a positive environment, with cleanliness at the top of its tier.

When looking at the menu, you can find so many options that you can choose from. From dips, to subs and more modifications from there.

The alcohol and food is reasonably priced, even less than your average SUBWAY!

When it comes to taste, you can tell they put quality in their food but also love.

THIS IS definitely a place to check out if your from or just visiting the Augusta/CSRA, area.

I came here for lunch midweek and it wasn’t very busy, but there was a steady flow of foot traffic. A staff member greeted me upon entry, told me I could sit anywhere I liked and took my order. I ordered a Reuben, which came with chips, a pickle and the famous white sauce. I didn’t order a drink. I was taking it to go. My food came out maybe 10 min later. Good so far.

I’m going to say this next piece and I don’t mean to be super petty. I got my receipt and left a $3 tip. I then ask the waiter if I could just get a water to go. She informs me that it will be $0.23 cents. Now, I understand charging for water, especially if I didn’t order anything. However, I just left you a $3 tip. She said it so nonchalantly, I almost made her pay for it by taking it out of the tip. I was happy they got me in and out but a little common sense courtesy over nickel-and-diming goes a long way.

Overall, I thought the Rueben tasted great. I didn’t care too much for the sauce. I would return to try other items on the menu.

The Apollo sandwich with bacon and spreaded cheddar cheese is great. Place is very clean, spacious and in the heart of downtown Augusta. Should definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. Great atmosphere and service. Plenty free parking in the area. Keep up the great sandwiches ladies and gentlemen

Shelby was wonderful today, my first time eating here. She recommended several items and I so enjoyed my lunch here. Ordered the Reuben.

Got double meat on the turkey on a kaiser bun for my male friend meat was supposed to be warm but it wasn't. He said The sandwich was small meat was cold... i got the salad it was OK I added my own items at the house I got their Italian dressing i didnt use it i didnt like it ... if you're looking for a snack or you're on a diet then this place might be for you.

The staff at Groucho’s is awesome!! They always take great care of us…from a single order for me to large orders for our office! Food, service and, of course, the sweet tea is the best!!

First impression. Walked in very relaxed environment, cool music and nice decor! So I ordered the Reuben variation for $13! Order came out pretty quick which I liked being on a lunch break. Open the lid on the carry out box, what did I see? A beautiful looking sandwich that called out to me saying eat me. The rye bread had a nice crisp to it, the pastrami seemed to be lacking a little flavor the kraut was warm and on point. Had the right amount sauce not to over powering. I do believe the sweet tea was made in house, but was still very good. Can't go wrong with the pickle, the sauce that came on the side which I do believe is their house sauce. Which was good but definitely different from others. Overall I would come back for more

Love their sandwiches and they offer gluten free bread. The pasta salad is amazing!
