Aside from work still being done in the building it was quite pleasant. Especially the front desk receptionist Ms.Faith, she answered every question I had and she was a great person to just talk to and on top of that I left a bag in the room and instead of throwing it away she called and let me know. The rooms were clean, the pillows were a really soft as well. |Only thing that I got to me a little bit is I couldn’t hook my game system up because of the maintenance being done in the building but it’s not that far from some great places to eat and Walmart

Ants in the bathroom. I only WISH that was my only complaint…but the bigger(?) issue:|They are under construction - which they failed to notify the third party I used for booking - and the hotel had our room on the floor that construction started on the morning of our reservation, which woke us up early in the morning. On top of that, someone opened our door early that morning as well - thank goodness for the lock that goes across to stop people from coming in our room. |When I brought these issues to the front desk as we scurried away from the ant-infested bathroom (as I doubt they only in the bathroom), the front desk blamed the third-party site I used to book (which, again, had NOT been informed of the construction) and then said the 2nd floor construction just began that morning - then WHY PLACE PEOPLE ON THAT FLOOR?!?! We were in room 217 - the pictures submitted with this review were taken as we left before 9 a.m. the 3rd of January. I wish I could add video of the ants - across the floor, the door and countertop of the bathroom - and one right by my toothbrush. Disgusting. |The hotel has offered no compensation - they said because I had used my reservation they would not offer anything - even though HOW WOULD I KNOW THEIR CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE?!? |The lack of accountability from Baymont by Wyndham Augusta West is just astounding. I will not waste my time, or my money, at this establishment again. Please do yourself a favor and skip Baymont by Wyndham - hospitality is apparently very low on their radar.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had been recently renovated. Was very clean. The place on the nightstand to charge a phone didn't work. The toilet seemed to be leaking. The bathroom floor was wet when we arrived. We wiped it up but it became wet again. Also the stopper in the sink was not hooked up so it didn't work. We reported all of this to the staff when we left.
Breakfast was ok. The attendant supplying the breakfast was walking around with a podcast going that everyone could hear. I thought that seemed a little rude.
Nice hotel and I would stay again.

I stayed there recently and the smell of marijuana was so strong you can smell it coming off the elevators, I spoke to the manager about it and she was rude saying no one has complained as if that matter. I didn’t feel welcome and comfortable doing my stay. I might be a little rusty but I thought I heard her use a racist slur in Spanish.

I was very please with my stay even though renovations were going on. I had a really tough day traveling and arrive hours late and completely annoyed, but Clarissa Boyd the night desk clerk changed my entire mood for the best. She has been extremely friendly, kind, empathetic, and her smile radiated from her soul. Kiki in housekeeping was also a gem. The housekeepers were so friendly and the staff made my stay worth every penny spent.

It appears 2b under repair or renovation, but we were greeted with fast and efficient service and reasonable accommodations at an affordable price. We came up to see our grandchildren after a decade of not being able to do so. God has blessed us with an option for future stays that is feasible and secure. You can tell they are striving for excellence, and that goes a long way in my book...

Housekeeping is the worst. They don't take out your trash. They don't bring you new towels. They don't make up your beds. They don't do anything they have roaches in the rooms disgusting horrible would not recommend. Edited to add it's a great place to stay if you don't want to get sleep. They wake you up at 3am with construction tools

Dont stay at this hotel. Our stay was horrible. Room was dirty on check in, bed pillow cases were dirt, no hot water, tv stopped working the so called complimentary breakfast consisted of dry eggs, open container of milk no individual containers. We moved to a new room the second night and that room was worse, it had a horrible smell and had to call down to the front desk to have the room cleaned. The hotel is under construction, and the workers were playing music at midnight and also out in the back of the hotel smoking weed. The pool was green and unattainable to swim in. When we called to complain about the loud music, someone at the front desk said we were the only ones that complained.
