Where can i start?||First, the communication with this hotel is HORRIBLE!!! I attempted to contact the hotel prior to my stay to inquire about a room change. Out of the 20+ calls (yes, you read that right), i was able to get through once. The person i spoke with was beyond rude, not helpful at all, hung up on me, and frankly if she worked for me, she would no longer be employed! I also have an issue with billing, and again, no one answered the phone and of course the voicemail is full...||Second, the hotel parking is an issue. The garage, albeit is perfectly fine, the way in / out, it doesn't work. I had three (3) separate parking passes, and only ONCE did one work. I had to continuously ask for support, and while that worked, it didn't work at first attempt, as i was getting hung on constantly.||Third, and i should have taken pictures, alas i did not. My room, on the 16th floor, was dirty, dated, and was unacceptable. There were holes in the bathroom walls, the thermostat had no power and i was unable to increase / decrease the room temperature, there were power cords and a power block randomly on the room floor, a tripping hazard, not secured or even remotely presentable, the best i can say is the bed was comfortable.||Fourth, the community bathrooms, while i only visited one, again, it had holes in the walls, extremely dated, and honestly i would expect to see that kind of a bathroom at an older gas station or a carnival. ||Fifth, I am a Hilton Diamond member, and of course my food / beverage credit was not taken off my hotel bill (yes, i stayed under my daily allowance). I won't even bother trying to contact the hotel again, i am sure it will go nowhere.||Lastly, this hotel, for the close to $300 per night i paid on average, is not even worth half that. This hotel is an EMBARASSMENT to the Hilton brand.||If you take nothing else away form this review, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I Picked this hotel because I was invited to be on the Senate floor the next morning and they told me parking is tough so this is the closest hotel to the Senate. I arrived at 4:20 PM. The valet parking line of cars was out into the street blocking traffic. The valet staff both at check-in and check out were phenomenal, I cannot say enough nice things about them. When I walked into the lobby, the line was out the door and there was only one gentleman checking people in at the peak time. Over 10 people were waiting to check in, there should’ve been at least three staff members at the desk. It took me 40 minutes to check in, once I met the gentleman at the desk he was nice. My room 312, however, was horrible. It smelled horrible, the furniture was worn & stained, the chair upholstery tattered, the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling, the bedside charging station did not work and there was no printed TV Guide and no guide that would come up on the TV menu. Although I’m a loyal Hilton Honors member, I would never stay at this property again.
Sad & disappointed.

Very gothic design, the lobby looked really nice. Although the rooms didn’t match the same vibe. Rooms and hallway were dimly lit and looked spooky. Room was decently sized and bathroom was good.

Garage parking, however, was a bit tricky. First night the parking lot was full. Second day we got a spot inside but the garage was very cramped and small. Could barely fit two cars passing by each other.

My first time to Tallahassee and not sure where to stay so I choose a Hilton brand to be safe. On the good side parking is convenient hotel is short staffed but they work hard and are courteous. The rooms are good size and beds comfortable. Not so good is the shape of the hotel. She is very outdated and in need of a major face lift. There was no soap in my room on arrival. I asked for a bar but there was none to be had. The front desk sent me up a bottle of shampoo. Maybe it’s all the same stuff in those bottles hard to tell but it all looks the same. Place could use a good scrub and maybe a coat of paint at minimum. Oh and housekeeping starts knocking on everyone’s door at 8:00 and you can hear them coming as they get closer. Put your do not disturb sign out unless you want a visit at 8am! I travel quite a bit ant I am a Hilton Honors member but I must say this place is not up to Hilton standard I have come to know and enjoy.

Great Staff, But Rooms and Communication Need Improvement. We love the Hilton brand and have always had excellent experiences. We recently stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree in Tallahassee for a soccer tournament at FSU. The hotel was very busy, and the staff, though clearly overwhelmed, were fantastic—friendly, professional, and doing their best to accommodate guests.

Unfortunately, several issues made our stay less enjoyable. One of the three elevators was out of service, causing long waits to get to our room. Our room felt worn, the air conditioning was very noisy and had an unpleasant urine-like smell, and the room phone didn’t work. Housekeeping also did not refresh our towels daily, and we had to call to request fresh ones.

The biggest frustration was the lack of communication regarding a major spring festival happening that weekend. We were woken up at 5 AM by local police knocking on our door, instructing us to move our vehicle due to parade-related road closures. Had we been informed in advance, we could have planned accordingly to avoid the disruption.

While we appreciate the hospitality of the staff, better maintenance, housekeeping, and communication about events impacting guests’ stays prior to arrival would greatly improve the experience.

Positive: Convenient location. Nice room. Room rating because of poor location. Negative: Hard to sleep as parking garage was on the other side of my room, my window faced it. And loud machinery was going off from time to time. Would recommend hotel if the room were away from pkg garage. Lack of free parking. Public pkg $34. Valet $36.

Horrible, I expected better. I booked through Amex platinum travel. I also called ahead directly to the hotel prior to booking as there is a festival within 1 min walk and we are com in g for a soccer tournament at FSU. I called to ensure (1) there was valet as I am traveling with my daughter and without my husband. Yes on Valet. I also asked if parking or streets are affected as we have an early morning game Saturday morning and relayed the time-leaving at 630 am. Was assured no problem. We arrived and the hotel manager or manager on duty didn’t have the courage to stand outside with their valet (a young man/teen/college student) and he had to relay to every single angry arriving guest for said soccer tournament that there is zero parking, roads are closed before 6am and we could park 3 blocks away at a public parking garage and walk back at almost 10pm at night. Great. I’m pissed as you put me in a situation where my daughter is UNSAFE. You would think with any form of hospitality that a manager or asst manager would be outside relaying unfortunate news instead of hiding and having Althea valet constantly getting yelled at. I’m a business owner and I would NEVER ever have a young employee doing this. Unbelievable! Then my so called upgraded room, I’m placed in the back side of the elevator. It is SO LOUD. It’s all we hear. Can’t sleep while only 2 of the 3 elevators work, they are both against my wall with the tv which we can barely hear as the elevators are constantly going (super slowly) and it’s ALL WE HEAR. I will NEVER be back and will be reaching out to Amex and corporate. This was handled horrifically. I normally stay at nicer hotels and resorts and have normally picked Marriott properties and was just shown the reason, hospitality does not live at the Hilton. Now the desk clerk who checked me in was apologetic, the valet was apologetic. Where the heck was the nighttime manager Hiding somewhere. It is so loud in our room from the elevator and the zero sound proofing from the hall/outside/hallway literally it’s like banging and elevator loud nose and if the room was next to an airport and 95 and a night club at once. No thank you.

This was the most horrific hotel experience of my life. After our first night in a dirty room we spent the day at the capital. When we returned to the room our key didn’t work. Front desk fixed our key but when we arrived at the room our belongings were removed and the room was prepared for new guest.||||The manager, Lori Kaye, said she personally packed our room because our reservation had ended. After provided clear documentation that was not true and our reservations were paid for in full for a remaining four days. After an hour our luggage was located and returned only for us to find $400 missing. Mrs. Kaye said there was nothing she could do. That a gentleman came to our door claiming to be engineering. Our phone in our room did not work so we had to go to the front desk to confirm he worked there and the front desk said he must have been at the wrong room. ||||We spent the following trying to reach anyone at the hotel who could help with the situation. We hoped it was an isolated situation and remained at the hotel. This was a poor decision, at 10pm a man again knocked claiming to be there to fix our air. He would not leave and we called the police so we could move to a safer location. ||||We have tried to call and speak to a supervisor repeatedly and only reached a recording.||||Do not stay here, it is dirty, there are ants, zero accountability for poor decisions from staff and most importantly you are not safe!
