I rarely give 5 stars but for this place it is well deserved. The accommodations are unique, clean, we'll appointed. The staff was friendly and professional and the campers were warm and welcoming. The setting and all ponds make it very serene, peaceful, relaxing, quiet. The goats are adorable and very well cared for.

Wow, what a great time we had for our New Year celebration at The Hideaway Campground in Collins, GA! This gay male campground truly knows how to create an unforgettable experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly residents who remembered us from our previous visit. The campground hosts a variety of fun events, ensuring you’ll meet some of the coolest people, no matter when you come.

We attended the Saturday Red Party, where everyone sported their vibrant red outfits, and the energy was electric! The Sunday afternoon camper crawl was another highlight, leading into an epic campfire and karaoke session, featuring some amazing singers. Although the campfire didn’t go as planned due to rain on Sunday morning, they made up for it by lighting it the next day!

Monday's potluck was a treat, with residents providing delicious food that had us going back for seconds. We capped off the night with a Wacky Hat Party, showcasing some truly creative and fabulous hats!

Tuesday, New Year’s Eve, was perfect! The weather allowed for poolside lounging, and the atmosphere was filled with camaraderie (and it was clothing optional!). The cowboy casino-themed party was a blast, with everyone dressed in their best western attire. The midnight cash confetti drop was a highlight, making for a fun and memorable celebration. I may have only won $6, but it was the best $6 I’ve ever made! The party continued until 1 AM, and then there was an after-party that lasted until 4 AM—what a night!

We loved our stay so much that we extended our trip to relax on New Year’s Day. We plan to return to The Hideaway Campground as often as possible this year. If you're looking for a fantastic place to connect with others or simply enjoy nature, The Hideaway Campground is the perfect destination!

I live at the Hideaway full time and love living here. What I appreciate most is the friendliness the residents show towards visitors. As residents we try very hard to welcome our guests to our homes to try and ensure folks have an awesome time and want to return.

Great experience and atmosphere here at this campground! We arrived shortly after a storm blew through which knocked out power to the area for a bit of time with several trees down on the property & still the staff had the place in great shape with positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate btw with plenty of hot water to go around. Our tent site was huge as you can see by the picture and since we were there during the week, we had the place to ourselves. We will be back! Thank you for making our stay special!!

I just want to take the time to highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a friendly place where to relax and have a good time by yourself or with friends, don’t hesitate to book with them. The cabins are great, public areas well maintain and the residents very friendly. I want to thanks Roy, Benni, Marcelo and Eduardo for making my stay the best.

If your looking for 50+ crowd then go try..except on July 4th ..and too many rules and regulations with so many fees and extra for events the cafe isn't open during the day so poolside isn't all that great. Very hard to get in and out gate overall I'd rather camp out at a rest area or truck stop. . rivers edge 5 stars

I cannot say enough good things about The Hideaway. It is an absolutely fantastic getaway. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Lakes for days and beautiful views. The friendliest people of any campground we've been to. Salt water pool, hot tub, clean bathrooms with superior water pressure. The poolside cafe there is top notch. It's very convenient and it's not just bar food. Marcelo on the grill makes the best cheeseburger I've had. My partner had the chicken sandwich and said he will always get that going forward. We can't wait to come back and are considering full time.

First time visiting this campground with a group of friends celebrating my birthday. To say the people here were friendly would be an understatement. The staff, residents and visitors were all so welcoming and engaging. The whole weekend was like a big family reunion. We stayed in the Manor House cabin and it was beyond our expectations. The only downside about our experience was a few activities were cancelled due to weather. Other than that 10/10
