We skipped off too a romantic night away from home to this beautiful B&B. Victor is such a gracious host and does everything to make you feel at home. The honeymoon suite was gorgeous and I especially enjoyed the bathroom opening to a balcony to see the sky at night. A wonderful place to hang out and reconnect. There’s a wrap around porch with lots of seating and swings, unfortunately I get cold easily otherwise I’d have sat outside with a book and wine. Something I plan on for our next visit

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay at 9 Columns! I booked the Lankford room because of the large jacuzzi tub, and my wife was able to relax and enjoy it very much. I didn't try it this time because of recent hip replacement surgery, but I will definitely try it next time! The room was well appointed and very comfortable.||||Victor, the owner/proprietor/chef was great! We made a lasting friendship having stayed here. The breakfast both mornings was southern and delicious. Victor made reservations for us for dinner at the best restaurant in Lyons, and we enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner at Prime Cut Steakhouse just a few blocks from 9 Columns.||||The property is very nicely appointed, and Victor obviously cares that his guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. ||||We needed a weekend without any deadlines, and Lyons is a great place to just relax. There are several antique/junque/decor businesses within easy driving distance, and we took our time visiting them.

As a big city native and resident, I'm accustomed to constant movement, startling sounds, endless delays, and entitled attitudes, but not in Lyons, Georgia. From the very start of my stay at 9 Columns until the day of departure, I was smothered in southern hospitality. When I arrived via Uber, I was met at the doorway of 9 Columns by its owner, Dr. Victor Wolfe. He kindly welcomed me, offered assistance and gave brief overview tour of the elegantly appointed historic three-level estate. ||Unbeknownst to him, he was shifting me from cautious to comfortable. I really loved the cozy antique furnishings inside and the luscious outdoor grounds around the pool area, with the porch, swing seating and calming street views. |My 3rd floor loft room was private, undisturbed as I relaxed in the snuggly soft bed. Surely, the 1st floor pastry bar and self-serve wine station contributed greatly to each night's sleep. |Each morning I was awakened by the delicious aroma of freshly baked pastries and breakfast favorites including grits, bacon, orange juice and coffee. My daily interactions with Dr. Victor Wolfe were filled with thoughtful conversation and hysterical laughter. His sincere, gracious and accommodating spirit, truly made this B&B a perfect fit for me. |My five-day trip to Lyons, Georgia, would not have been as successful without the comfort of 9 Columns and the homey hospitality of Dr. Wolfe and the kind people of Lyons. The room we reserved was advertised as a suite. Comment: If "suite" means a collection of rooms each with its own closing door, this was not a suite. It turned out to be a smallish room filled with a poster bed, the bed, being about 4 ft high ( too high for my wife to manage) and undulating with high and low spots. We also had the distinct impression that the owner believes that filling his space with "things" somehow substitutes for a good, deep cleaning. Finally, no TV available. That was the last straw for us, and we pulled up stakes and left.

What an amazing experience! One of the most beautifully decorated homes I’ve ever laid eyes on! Not only is the art work amazing but the food was delicious and to top it off was the most welcoming and charming hoist you could ask for! Vector has a way of making you feel like family. We will definitely be returning to spend time in our new favorite B&B in the south!

We visited 9 Columns the weekend before Valentines Day just traveling home after some business in South Georgia. We stayed on a Friday night. ||The house was simple to locate and there was adequate parking in the back. ||We were greeted by the host/owner Victor Wolfe. Just visiting with him was worth the price of the stay. ||The house is over 110 years old and Victor has filled it with rare antiques to include items from the DuPont mansion, bathroom doors from China in the 1500’s, and numerous items from Europe. We stayed in the Langford Room with a beautiful king bed. Victor showed us all the bedrooms and they were beautifully appointed. Our room even had a private deck. The bathroom was spacious with a jetted tub that was basically the size of small swimming pool. ||The breakfast in the morning included quiche, French toast, grits, bacon, blueberry muffins, fruit parfait, and mimosas. It was outstanding. ||We actually lucked out in that the inn was hosting Valentines dinners and Victor had the foresight to reserve one table for guests so we enjoyed a steak/shrimp dinner prepared by a New York chef. ||My biggest question to Victor was why Lyons? He is a native and semi-retired and the inn is his hobby. ||It is well worth the trip and we will be back!

I can’t express with words how amazing this B&B is. Victor is the most gracious and entertaining host I’ve ever met. We had a wonderful stay filled with music, laughter, delicious food, and incredible comfort. If you ever get the chance to stay here, please do not pass it up. You will not regret it. I’d give 10 stars if I could!!

This is such a wonderfully lovely home away from home with beautiful decor, including antiques and vintage furnishings that make you feel like you are in a home of royalty.

The host, Victor, is the poster child (man) for the host with the most!!

He is very attentive and keeps such an inviting and comfortable home that really makes you feel like you are family.

His breakfasts are out of this world delicious and bountiful.

He also serves brunch on Saturdays with mimosas and holds various events here, like weddings, baby showers and rehearsal dinners.

This gorgeous home is truly a gem in Lyons and I highly recommend it as a respite from your travels or as a venue for your quaint or extravagant event.

With the pool, the expansive green yard with giant oak trees and the accessibility of being walking distance to downtown Lyons, this should be your next go to Bed and Breakfast!!

And when you’re here, be sure to get Victor to play the piano and sing for you!! That is the best treat of all!!!
