Several things about my recent stay at this hotel really bothered me, and are the reason I’m writing this review.||1). Bed frames are sticking out (see photo) and have created an incredible hazard for obliterating your shins! I had to put pillows on the floor to ensure I would not injure myself||2) lobby was absolutely freezing cold for breakfast! I felt sorry for the staff. Everybody was wearing jackets or coats while eating breakfast both days of my stay.||3) hotel is generally not in great repair. Room doors have big chips out of them. (See photo). Hotel just does not give a great feeling of safety and security.||4) I’m a lifetime Hilton Honors diamond member, and have stayed in Hilton hotels roughly 1000 nights over the past 17 or 18 years. This is the first time I’ve ever been told that I could not slightly extend my check out by one hour, from 11 AM to noon. Every Hilton property gives difference to frequent guests… Except, evidently, the Vidalia Hampton Inn. I had a ton of office work that I needed to get done, but they could not extend this common courtesy to a diamond member.||Whenever possible, I try to find alternative options to staying in this hotel. However, sometimes it’s unavoidable. Definitely my least favorite Hampton Inn.

Worst Hampton Inn there is. I have stayed at an average 4 per year the last decade. Had to stay here in October due to Hurricane delaying trip to Orlando. The staff are rude and talk back at the customers. They put my family of four, in a single King instead of the Accessible two queen I booked online, take it or leave, and then complained when I asked for enough blankets to use the pull out. The room wasn't even made up when I got there and never was properly cleaned. Something dried on the bathroom sink like old snot? One of the pillows had blood on it, but they refused to give me another stating they had none, even though the hotel was almost empty due to rooms reserved for Hurricane repair workers who didnt show up. Desk staff were either on thier phone or watching "Enchanto" in the lounge. Staff this rude does not happen over night and speak directly to the quality managment. Manager observed staff rudeness, but never stepped in to help. Entire Hotel was unclean and run down.

Being 13 years in truck driving, I've stayed in some pretty sketchy roachtels over the years. This Hampton in might be the absolute worst condition I've ever been in as far as a hotel goes. I'm not even going to get into all the details, but empty space in the rooms where they advertise sofas and chairs to the products on the wall shower being empty the second we walked into the room. There were only two towels in the bathroom for two adults staying for 3 days. The breakfast was absolutely subpar to the point that the only thing my wife could eat because of the diet she has to maintain was the fruit. There was a young man at the front counter complaining about being charged twice for the same room for one night. The receptionist's help was less than stellar. My wife went to the weight room, and everything was broken, literally. She turned around and walked right back out. The elevator was so shady that I was scared to ride it up. My wife and I used the stairs to the 3rd floor the entire time we were there. This is unacceptable for what we paid for the rooms. The receptionist to me personally was nice and professional. Outside of that, the experience was absolutely horrible. If we can keep from it, we will not be staying here again, ever. I'll take my chances in a tent.

We chose a Hampton Inn because we were sure it would be a reasonably decent place to stay. This Hampton Inn was very run down. Doors didn't shut. Our closest door was broken and falling off. The shades wouldn't go up so there was very little light. There were no hooks in the bathroom, no toilet paper holder. The shower was dirty and never really gave us any hot water. General disrepair and pretty disappointing considering it was the same price as most Hampton Inns which aren't super inexpensive.

This was the worst Hampton Inn experience I have ever had. I traveled to Vidalia for a cheerleading competition and took my team to this hotel to spend the night. We had to prepay with a check, which is fine. I received an email from the hotel manager that the check had been received and everything was good. When I arrived, I had to put my personal debit card down since I did not travel with the school credit card. My debit card was charged for ALL 6 ROOMS. |On top of that, we had one room with a broken air conditioner, one room that had a horrible smell due to rotten food left in the refrigerator, and one room that was left dirty (towels on the sink, hair in the drains, and hair in the beds). |One of the outside doors is being propped open continuously because of an extension cord that is going outside, so that did not make me feel very safe with my team of girls. |The staff was great, however. The front desk lady tried her best to help in any way she could. The night manager on duty tried his best to fix the air conditioner and cleaned the refrigerator in the smelly room. They really did everything we asked. |This hotel claims they just had a renovation, but I think they probably just need to start from scratch. It was very evident that it was an older hotel. NOT up to the standards I am used to for a Hampton Inn.

I’m out of town for work so this was the first hotel of many unfortunately. The staff was friendly and helpful but the rooms take away from that experience because it’s nothing the staff can do about it. My room had a dated and old water smell, my door didn’t close on its own, it was super loud and squeaky, food in the area is minimal and I wasn’t too comfortable being in the parking lot at night due to limited cameras and efficient lighting. I came back with a pizza one night and bug had to be on the desk because not even 5 mins after setting it down, it was a small roach crawling into the box ☹️ I think a more thorough cleaning and new or shampooed carpet would do this place some good ♥️

I had a reservation for October 7th, on the way from my home I was contacted by an employee from Hampton telling me the manager had cancelled my reservation and told me they did not have a room for me. When I made the reservation I paid in full for 4 nights. Being one month later I still have not received my money back. The manager or Hampton will not talk to me about it and after leaving several messages will not return my calls. Even Hilton would not help.
