Butterfly Ridge is an idyllic peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our few days to "destress" after the holidays. The lodging is beautiful and our room (Mountain View) couldn't possibly have been appointed any better, with every small detail addressed.

Kim is delightful and a fountain of knowledge on nutritional issues. Plus, the vegan dinner she prepared was an extra treat (and we're not vegan).

We are already talking about a return trip.

What an awesome weekend getaway. The owners were so welcoming, and we loved meeting all the fur babies. Kim, the owner, is so knowledgeable about how much diet impacts our overall health.

The vegan breakfast was delicious (even my husband agreed, and he's a meat and potato kind of guy). We loved the savory oats, chocolate avocado mousse, waffles, fruit parfait, smoothie, chia pudding, etc. Perfect place to see the fall foliage, go hiking, and explore all the towns nearby.

This is everything you want in a retreat. It's far enough from the chaos to be in nature and enjoy the lakes, trails, and trees. It's close enough to go out for the day and experience the local towns and cities.

The retreat itself is a beautiful place. Very soothing to the soul. The hostess, Kim, is very kind and knowledgeable concerning health and things about the area. Extremely healthy food that will knock your socks off. Very personal experience for everyone that's there.

Enough can not be said about this place and Kim. Thank you for making our weekend getaway one to remember.

Kim was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay .
You feel truly welcomed. Kim goes out of her way to make your stay perfect.
Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. The view from our room, The Captain's Suite, was spectacular.
We enjoyed our healthy and delicious spread every morning.
Kim has a couple of very special and sweet dogs and a cat, which we fell in love with.
Thank you Kim for making our stay so special.

My wife and i have stayed at butterfly ridge twice now. Each time has been excellent. The biggest part of the experience is kim, the b&b host. She is kind, fun to talk to, and very accommodating. The location is great. Tons of outdoor activities ranging from easy hikes to grueling hikes, multiple lakes nearby, boating, unique mountain towns to explore... the proprty is top notch as well. I proposed that it be called the butterfly ridge mountain retreat chateau. You'll know what i mean when you see it. Ill also mention the food. Breakfast is always delicious. If you have the time and want a great dinner, ask about availability. We've twice now done the dinner option and have been impressed both times. Bottom line: highly recommend.

Wow! What a wonderful experience my husband and I had at Kim’s Butterfly Ridge Mountain Retreat! We feel blessed to have been able to spend several days there last month. Kim has created such a warm and welcoming environment for her guests. You truly feel like part of her family when you are there! The grounds and the views are spectacular and the suites are just beautiful. And the breakfast…OMG! Just delicious! Don’t let the vegan plant-based menu give you any second thoughts-My hubby is a hard-core ‘meat and potatoes’ man, and he devoured everything that she made! He even went back for seconds!! Yep-It was that good! In addition to Butterfly Ridge being a wonderful B&B, the location is perfect. Whether you want to explore the many lakes and outdoor adventures available close by or simply just sit back and relax and unwind, this is the perfect destination. We can’t wait to return for our next visit. Thank you, Kim for making our getaway so special! We look forward to seeing You and the pups-Winter, Beau and Katie again soon!

Everything about this wonderful place just invites you in! Hosts are so fantastic and personalble. The views from this property are breathtaking. We stayed in the Butterfly Cottage. Rooms were so clean, comfortable and inviting . We had breakfast every morning consisting of fresh fruit, steel oats, yogurt, homemade waffles and syrup, scones and, coffee made to order. .

We truly enjoyed our stay at this b&b! It was selected for us as part of a business trip and we couldn't have been more pleased. Kim, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. She does have a few loving sweet dogs, which we really liked. Our room in the cottage was small but the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The garden and deck were a beautiful place to eat breakfast each morning - we watched numerous hummingbirds, other birds and butterflies flit here and there around us. We also very much enjoyed the plant-based breakfasts that were served. Kim was happy to share information if we asked, but didn't force anything. She was warm and welcoming.😊
