10/10, would recommend the Wells Hotel cashiers! We stayed in the log suite, perfect for our family, equipped with a kitchen and family room! This is in an awesome spot in the cute little town of cashiers, and very close to restaurants, even has a cute walking pathway to the brewery! The hotel was clean had everything we needed! Easy communication between the front desk who also helped us find a restaurant to eat at! (I think her name was Zakira, super friendly!) We went over New Year’s eve/day, the only thing to note is that many restaurants were closed at this time! Hoping to go back again in the summertime!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Wells. Even though we only stayed one night, we had Such a Great time. The room was very clean. Zakira was Awesome. She's very efficient and sweet. I would also like for you to know that the main reason we chose to stay with you, instead of one of the hotels we looked at in Highlands, was because you are the ONLY place we saw that is NOT pet friendly. I have terrible allergies and even when they say the room has been "cleaned" from a dog staying, my sniffer can still smell it and it makes my eyes itch, my nose itch and I get stuffed up for days and end up with a cough. It's horrible. So I am VERY grateful that you are Not pet friendly. It isn't that I don't like animals, I just get really messed up and sick. SO, THANK YOU!! The Wells is a very Beautiful property. I highly recommend this place!

Review of The Wells Hotel – Cashiers, NC

I’ve stayed at The Wells Hotel several times, and this time, I opted for one of the newer cabins nearby. It was a fantastic experience! The cabin was beautifully appointed, with an open and inviting layout that made it feel spacious yet cozy.

From check-in to check-out, the experience was seamless. The front desk attendant provided clear instructions, making everything easy to navigate. The location is ideal—just a short distance from the downtown crossroads of Cashiers, making it convenient while still feeling tucked away in nature.

One of my favorite features was the kitchenette, which was fully equipped with everything I needed, including a mini fridge, toaster oven, and microwave. It was great to have that flexibility for preparing small meals. The coffee station was well-stocked, though the creamer lasted only a couple of days—still, a thoughtful touch!

The attention to detail in the furnishings was impressive. From the built-out closet space to the luxurious linens and stylish window coverings, everything felt well-designed and high-quality. The balance of comfort and aesthetics made for a truly enjoyable stay.

Overall, I highly recommend The Wells Hotel, especially the newer cabins. It’s a wonderful getaway spot with thoughtful amenities, excellent service, and a prime location in Cashiers. Looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed in the deluxe king room and it was very clean and beautifully decorated. We slept so well, the mattress was so comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our questions about the brewery. It was New Year’s Eve and it was packed! This was our first time visiting Cashiers and the Highlands. We will be back. The Wells is very centrally located to everything and quiet even though it’s off the main road.

My wife found this place for us to stay overnight on our way home from.a funeral in South Carolina. What a nice surprise! The room was very nice with a gas fireplace which added a nice warm homey feeling! Great walk in shower with a rainshower head!! Small refrigerator and coffee station. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and refreshing and it had a comfortable rustic feel. The bed and the pillows were perfect giving us a comfortable night’s rest. Checkin and checkout was contactless making everything very easy. We would highly recommend staying at Wells Inn.

Quaint and relaxing. Helpful staff. Clean and well kept room and common are. Close and convenient to everything. Buck's was right beside us and Whiteside brewery was on the other side. Several waterfalls nearby as well. Great weekend getaway. Will be back again.

Great room and Zakira who works the front desk was excellent! The Wells Hotel was a great place for us to stay on our getaway to Cashiers, Highlands, Saphire, Burlingame and Lake Glenville. The room was charming. We loved having a fireplace in our room. We would definitely stay there again!
