An inexpensive motel close enough to my granddaughter's home so we can celebrate my great-grandson's 1st birthday. Room is clean, great TV channels, room air that you can set to your comfort level, everything I need.

I ended up here after a week at the Knight's Inn across town. I wish I could have avoided the Knight's Inn, but the M was booked for the first week that I needed a room.|This hotel was clean and adequate, I had a very pleasant stay here. It's not fantastic by any means, but a thousand times better than the other option in town, and for less money. It was pretty peaceful at night, as well. Staff was fine. No complaints.

Absolutely awful. Saw a bug as soon as we walked in. Nasty showers. Not clean. Workers were so unbelievably rude and unprofessional. They came and knocked on our door 3 minutes before checkout and was rude. Price was absolutely unreasonable.

the place was very nice and clean inside and out .only thing we did not like was the blonde .lady walking round drinking outside she was rude and then next day she came to my room to give us clean sheets and she was hand over this smell like she was drinking .but beside her everything eles was very nice ..i asked a young lady how she liked it here and she said owners where great and very sweet. we will be back and it so close to nice good food

Absolutely horrible experience! The guy at the counter was so unbelievably rude. Never had a problem with the other managers but this guy couldn't be nice if you paid him! Every time we needed towels or our key card wasn't working he would be so aggressive! Rooms were kept mostly clean. Housekeeping was great. It's only 15 minutes from Helen. If you're looking for a bad attitude at a cheap motel this is the place to go! Also to add, there were a couple a few doors down from us smoking a joint on the stairs. I definitely will not be coming back.

If I could give a -10 for this hotel I would! The worst treatment I have ever experienced from any place of business! I was traveling with my disabled 91 year old mother to NC for my father’s funeral and had called SPECIFICALLY for a HC room or at the very least a bottom floor room. Upon arrival I was told no reservation and no lower rooms available. When I asked about elevator I was told there was not one and that getting my mother and her power wheelchair up to the room WAS MY PROBLEM! Yes, I have reported them for ADA noncompliance and warn anyone considering reserving rooms to find somewhere, any where, but here! Rude, dirty, and ADA noncompliance.

Visited Helen for the 4th of July, M Star was close and reasonable. Rooms probably need updating but none in our party saw any bugs, bug droppings or anything one doesn't want to see in their hotel room. Day staff very friendly but not the night staff. Pool has limited hours (closes at 8pm, sun was still up for another hour).
Would stay again...

It's a great place just think it's in a bad location. The housekeepers and workers are rude and not nice. But the owner at the desk is cool. But the rooms could have more things like a coffee pot. And a hair dryer. But overall, it's clean and quiet. There was no ice available but provided ice buckets
