Everything was amazing!! From the property, spa, to the service and staff (shout out Alexis, Michael B, Marc & so many others for always taking care of us on property and Carol the yoga instructor teaching the Saturday morning class who completely made our day and was such a bright light). Such a cute town too!! Highly recommend visiting 🙂

From the moment we arrived, the OEI exceeded expectations. We booked an off-season midweek stay (bargain!) for a badly needed girls getaway. I knew that all of the rooms were great, so I didn't fret about choosing the lowest priced room. It was a deluxe lodge king, and I would move in tomorrow if I could. My friend's Falls Cottage was beautiful too - the fireplace was so cozy. Central on the property, my cottage room was convenient to morning coffee in the Lodge and close to pools, restaurants and the spa. The room had an enclosed private front porch with shutters for privacy, or opened for a room-expanding sunroom. The king room was beautifully decorated with luxe fabrics and antiques. The bathroom featured heated floors, a heated towel rack and the most unbelievable shower I've ever used. Fantastic products, nice little touches like a scrub mitt. Cookies in the room to welcome me, Nespresso and a fridge in the room. Amazing housekeeping staff.||What really puts the OEI in a class of its own is the staff. Friendly, respectful, helpful to the extreme. After my first night, I wandered into the Lodge lobby for a cup of coffee. One of the employees (who all stood when I came in!) asked me if my room was comfortable. I told her that I slept well, but that the mattress was a bit firmer than I was used to. Without missing a beat, she offered to locate a feather mattress pad for my bed, and within an hour, the room had been serviced with the new comfy bedding. ||The spa was another standout experience. Elegantly furnished and well-staffed, they literally anticipated your every need. Hair bands, toothbrushes, disposable hairbrushes – everything. My massage with Angela was wonderful and relaxing, and the sauna, spa and relaxation rooms, along with lunch, made for a lovely afternoon. |The entire property is perfectly maintained, fresh towels always by the outdoor pools/spa, firepits lit every afternoon. The Old Edwards Inn is a truly exceptional property.

What a treat! The suite was perfect with a balcony, living room, standalone tub, and heated bathroom floor. This Inn is historic and in walking distance from many restaurants, boutiques, and shops. Lovely and upscale area. We were greeted with mimosas and the most helpful and positive team. Namely Ian and Matt, though the rest of the welcoming crew was tremendous. Ian is a gem and truly went out of his way to introduce us to the pastry chef and enlighten us on the cheese we found so incredible (immensely appreciated). The Hummingbird Lounge is a cozy spot for dinner/drinks and the food is fantastic. Even better if you can get a spot by the fire! Sebastian, Natalie, and Casey are the servers we had the most interaction with and they were all first class. You all have something special here and I am looking forward to being back up that way in a couple of weeks!

Just spent the perfect mountain getaway at Old Edwards. From our first step on the property, we were treated to amazing customer service and attention to detail! That's to Marc and Chris at the Lodge and Amber and Lisa in the Spa-they went above and beyond to be sure we were enjoying our weekend. Our room was exceptional. Thank you to the entire staff at Old Edwards for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

A place to celebrate and be celebrated. Everything was wonderful. Every staff member was kind, happy, helpful, and genuine. Relaxing and safe location. Quaint shops, great food and service. They made us feel like royalty. We were on a mother/daughter birthday getaway. We will return with our mates in the near future.

Our stay at Old Edwards Inn was exceptional. The hotel is full of charm, comfort, and amazing hospitality. Every morning, we looked forward to the bakery basket and delicious coffee, and in the evenings, the smoked old fashioned was a perfect way to unwind while snacking on other menu offerings in the lounge.

From relaxing in our room to enjoying the fireplaces and fire pits around the property, there were so many ways to soak in the atmosphere. We did have a bit of a negative experience at the spa, but the staff more than made up for it with their kindness and generosity, leaving us incredibly grateful.

What truly made our stay special was the incredible team. Marc in the lodge, Natalie in the lounge, Vimbai at Madison’s, and Cesar, Paola, and Ian at the main inn all treated us like family. They not only served us but took the time to chat, show us around, and make us feel welcome.

Every detail at Old Edwards is thoughtfully considered, from the toiletries in the bathrooms to the beautifully designed rooms—even the most affordable ones. No detail is overlooked, and that’s what makes this place such a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in their Terrace on Main residence and it was incredibly spacious, comfortable, great size rooms for my family of four and just an easy couple of blocks from the Inn's main buildings in downtown Highlands. The staff was phenomenal, always friendly and incredibly helpful. They used a text service to check in on guest needs, answered questions very quickly, and even scheduled housekeeping via text for convenience. There's so much to do in this area within walking distance - great restaurants, stores, a small grocery/convenience store at the end of the main street. We had an amazing time, and we would love to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Half Mile Farm, a sister property of Old Edwards, this past September and were eager to experience both Madison’s Restaurant and the Spa at Old Edwards during our visit. While we had high expectations, we, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed.

Our evening started on a high note with live music and expertly crafted cocktails at the Hummingbird Lounge—a truly enjoyable experience. However, once we arrived at Madison’s, things quickly took a turn. Despite noting my birthday celebration upon booking, there was no acknowledgment of the occasion. Service was slow from the start, with a 25-minute wait just for our first round of drinks. Our waiter, while well-intentioned, struggled with a language barrier, leading to multiple errors in our order. Sensing the delays, we placed our appetizer and entrée orders as soon as our drinks arrived. Unfortunately, our meal stretched into a nearly two-hour ordeal—far too long for an 8 PM reservation when we were already exhausted.

As disappointing as dinner was, our experience at the Spa at Old Edwards was even worse. While the facilities and amenities were beautiful, my massage was the most disjointed and uncomfortable I’ve ever had. My therapist mentioned his background in a chiropractic office before starting, and it became apparent as the session felt clinical rather than relaxing. There was no fluidity, no advanced technique—just an awkward, rigid experience. To make matters worse, he frequently knocked things over and seemed unorganized, disrupting the session multiple times. Had my husband not been in the room, I would have asked for the massage to end early. Afterward, we spoke with the spa manager, who was kind enough to comp my portion of the service. Unfortunately, our disappointment continued at the Spa Café, where we experienced extremely slow service and long wait times.

While we don’t plan to visit the Spa at Old Edwards again, we will be returning to Highlands this May and look forward to enjoying the Hummingbird Lounge once more. We hope for a better experience at Madison’s, as we know Old Edwards has the potential to deliver the level of service and hospitality they are known for.
