Had a wonderful dining experience at Café International in Marie, Georgia! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our waiter Phil was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made our visit extra special. The red cabbage was incredibly flavorful, and the potato salad was delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Just stopped in for a refreshing beer along the river and had the best time! Our waiter Brian was the best! The band was great so we stayed for a second round. We had one of the best pretzels and the food looked amazing!

This is a great place to come to enjoy a pretzel & Reuben and view of the creek and Main St. However, the service is not that great. It was not all that busy, so the service could have been better. The waitress was not that attentive and I had to ask for napkins, more water, etc. The quality and taste of the pretzel and Reuben was terrific! The bread was toasted perfectly and the meat and cheese was rested at an admirable temperature. The pretzel and beer cheese was what you would expect out of a Bavarian style. I was a bit disappointed in the mixed drinks. The vodka cranberry I ordered was insipid. It was overpowered with cranberry. The mimosa was 90% orange juice and had a very undear champagne.

They have vegetarian options, with me being vegetarian I greatly appreciate this! Food was very good, I especially liked the pretzel bun on the beyond bratwurst with sauerkraut & Swiss cheese. I also had the hot apple cider, definitely recommend in the cold weather. Our waiter recommended the Hot Toddy, which was quite lovely. All in all I would love to eat at this restaurant again the next time I visit!

Visiting from South FL. Stopped by here on a whim because we were hungry. I hadn’t looked them up prior. We ordered the Chattahoochee board to be able to taste an array of typical German cuisine. Everything on the platter was delicious, but my favorite was the pretzel and cheese. Really great to visit for a quick bite and beer!

This place was recommended to me by a friend who advised me to get the REUBEN sandwich 🥪 which I did and it was mouthwatering.

This Cafe International is right next to the famous tubing river, so you get a great view and a nice cool breeze.

This place doesn't look fancy at all, but the 2 meals/sandwiches that I ordered with my wife were savory.

Their menu had great options/choices.

Just their Reuben sandwich is well worth going to to this place.

We go to Helen about 5 times a year and most of the time we eat here during our stay at least 2x due to the service and food! We have never had a bad experience here and I can assure you if we did, management and the owner would take care of it right away! If you like Reuben’s then this is the place for you so get one and give it a try! Great location and lunch/dinner right over the river! We love Cafe International!

The server demonstrated exceptional customer service by verifying my children's orders with me prior to finalizing them. Her attentiveness was commendable. I opted for the blackened trout accompanied by German potato salad and mac and cheese. While I initially encountered a minor issue with the temperature of my meal, it was promptly rectified, and I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness of the fish and the overall taste of the dish. My family members also expressed satisfaction with their respective choices, including the Beyond Burger and the Camel Rider sandwich, which was particularly well-received by my eldest son. The generous portion size and delectable flavor of the sandwich left a positive impression on him.
